Even though some things never change, at least most of us don't have to take the bus anymore, right?
I can't wait till summer.
For those that care: I finally declared my major. Majors, actually. I think the "I am writing out of concern for your future registration activities" letter complete with red CONFIDENTIAL stamp finally did it for me. And fuck it. I'm gonna drop organic chemistry and screw pre-med. Unless the advisor I am meeting with at 1:00 makes me feel bad about it. I think I can get at least $200 for my text books. They are in new and *unread* condition after all...

Good luck. I don't think 'lazy' could be applied to you in any sense of the word though.

I think it's still illegal, though oft not enforced, to form the bridgehead double bond in at least 18 states.

"Maybe I'm just too lazy or not motivated"
If that were true, in comparison, I'd be in a coma.

Psychology/Spanish double major. I got all my requirements figured out and I can graduate on time. I'll easily fufill the requirements for a BS instead of a BA in Psych by taking Bio classes I actually like! I already finished my CORE and University Honors requirements and I'll get my research citation. And my advisor said that it wouldn't look bad at all if I drop Organic Chemistry! Yay for me! Plus 2 on me! Life isn't so bad when you don't hate getting up anymore!
You mean, I'm on my own? I've never been on my own. Oh no! On own! On own! I need help. Oh, God help me! Help me, God!

This is going to be one of those things where everyone who remembers Tina give it a +2 and everyone else will go "wtf".
Good luck with your decisions, Beaner.

TINA! It's great to see you around. Stirring things up sometimes is very good for you, and I'm glad to see you're following your interests. Feel free to send me an email some time.

If I add that I never wanted to be pre-med in the first place, does that make it better? If God told me right now that I was meant to be a doctor, I'd work and make it happen. But for now, biology, psychology and spanish classes are good enough for me. My schedule is still rigorous. I'm still working. But it would be such a relief to not worry about staying in a demanding course that I don't need. Maybe I'm just too lazy or not motivated, but orgo is one hell of a class. I just can't visualize why trans-Bicyclo[4,1,0]heptane is so much more strained and unstable than its isomer cis-Bicyclo[4,1,0]heptane or why if I try to build a model of 1-norborene it is impossible to form the bridgehead double bond.

What's up with you Tina?
This seems drastic. Depressingly drastic.
