Dear McDonalds,
What The Fuck???
This is an open ended letter to McDonald's asking a very simple question...What The Fuck??? I've been seeing scores of McDonald's commercials trying to live up to their "i'm lovin' it" ad campaign and showcasing how they're so in touch with urban youth. They were actually doing a semi-decent job of portraying the lives of young college aged people who turn to McDonald's as a quick fix for hunger...until one commercial in particular...I think you already know which one I'm talking about.
It's the one where a group of young, well dressed, urban black youths are playing basketball, but not just regular basketball...oh no...this was basketball with a twist, basketball with an edge...well actually, this was a group of Carlton-from-Fresh Prince-looking muthafuckas playing basketball on ROLLERSKATES. And to make matters worse, they all had on a complete set of KNEEPADS and HELMETS. Give me a fucking break. What the hell were the ad people at McD's thinking?? Did they think the urbanites of America were going to relate to smiling inner city youths playing basketball on fucking rollerskates??
This is probably how the starched collar caucasian advertising executive imagined his target audience to react to the ad:
Urban Youth #1: Hey dawg, pass me dem french fries.
Urban Youth #2: Hold up nigga, that Mickey D's commercial is on.
Urban Youth#1: Which One? Ohhhh SHIT. The one where they be ballin in ROLLERSKATES? HELL YEAHH NIGGA!!
Urban Youth#2: DAYAMM. Dat nigga just did an Iverson style crossover on that fool...and then he ROLLERSKATED right past his ass for tha layup.
Urban Youth#1: That is the SHIZNIT, yo. And check it out...that nigga is sportin them brand new Uvex line of helmets, complete with rear stabilizers and the unusual but cool elongated shape.
Urban Youth#2: For reals, nigga...Because of this advertisement portraying young inner city negros playing basketball in rollerskates and full protective head and extremity gear, I am now inclined to purchase more foodstuffs from McDonald's...BITCH.
FUCKING A. McDondald's was actually doing well with the "i'm lovin' it" campaign; sales were improving, all white meat nuggets were a phenomenal success, and more and more people were starting to forget about all the lawsuits from those heavily chunkified fatasses trying to blame their humanistic whale blubber on McD's food. But I'm afraid this particular commercial might have done irreparable harm.

the US will end up just like Warsaw.... GHETTO. (That's Warsaw, Poland) Side note: the first ghetto was a bunch of Jews in Poland. They were SO ghetto, even the freakin' Nazis were scared to go in there. And they never did take it over. Throughout the entire WWII, in the heart of Nazi country, a group of Jews were so ghetto that the scared the Gestapo SS muthas. I mean damn. These guys would have had Debo shittin' bricks.
