For the longest time Jesus has always been my number one hero. I mean, how could I not love the guy? He's got everything going for him; he's god's son, he died for our sins, he can walk on water, he's a devil with the ladies. You know what I mean.
But then, some time ago I came across this fellow. I was leafing through a magazine at the waiting room of the dentists office and then I somehow magically flipped to a page with a photo of this dashing fellow. Imeddiately I knew this man was special. I quickly ripped out the picture and stuffed it in my pocket. Later when I got home, I inspected it more closely and I found a fragment of the headline which read, "Corporate punishment for carp." Although I didn't understand quite what this meant, I took it as a sign that this was truly a god among men. With this one simple photograph, this man has reached into my heart and gripped it in the tight clasp of love, friendship, and benevolence. And so he has taken the place of Jesus in the position of my worship.
I know not who he is. But I am certain he is someone great.

Whenever I see the yankee flag I feel sick in my stomach.
I guess it's for all those poor dead soldiers.
