Alright, I know this is going to get negative ratings, so in advance, I hate you.
I just put my two weeks in at my current job and got a new one programming with Javascript, ASP, SQL, and someother web/database applications.
I know that there are alot of people on this site in this field of work. I need to find a good beginner's book on ASP (Active Server Pages) that will help to explain it to me and teach me some fundamentals so I can at least go into this with my head above water.
For all of you still in high school/middle school/special ed, please avoid commenting on this post and let the adults talk.

So, without tooting my own horn, I'd say this was better than half the posts today. Besides I really wanted some opinions that I could trust from people I can actually ask questions to.
As I stated, I honestly didn't know that there was a difference between ASP and ASP.NET.

I just wanted to everyone who posted a response. I have found a couple of tutorials that should help. I was just curious if there was one book that people found especially helpful and informative. My new employer expects me to learn on the job "hands on" but I just wanted to get a head start with terminology and theory. Once again

All the reference material you'll ever need exists on-line.
Make sure you clarify ASP or ASP.NET. There are major differences and I would presume you'd like to purchase books that are relevant to what it is you need to do.
You can not learn to write code by reading a book. You have to dive in and do it which you will when you get on the job.
If you want a head start there are several thousand ASP tutorials on the net.
