The man sees nothing, sees everything. He knows every answer, he hears no question. His IQ is lower than a retard, yet he is the most brilliant man alive. Not because of the word we call "love" he knows that is just an advanced thought of want. He requires no one to hold, relationships are a useless strain on a mans mind. They make a man weak, make him gullible, make him not a man. He has no use for the light of their eyes, no use for their caress at night. He hides, inside he controls, everything. When confronted he cowers away, not out of fear but out of knowledge. He knows giving one thing away is giving everything away. No person can stop after receiving their first taste of the unexplained. He knows this, knows he must be careful, fore when all facts are placed down, he too is just a man. But he is smarter, he knows not to give in, not to let them win. He will hide his eyes when they try to pry, he will cower back when they reach for his hand. He will protect his mind from the evil they conceal within. He will not question their motives, not question their questions. He will not fall into their trap of confusion, he will not surrender to their imitation of lust. He offers no answer to the question, no question to the answer. He must stay away from them if he is to survive, if he is to remember, if he is to live his own life. But even he can't help to wonder what she would do to him in the cover of the dark clouds of night.
He who wants to live must pretend to be dead.

In a sense you are correct.
It is not what the writer means to say, it is what the reader hears that matters
