I am conservative. I am right-wing. I also think it is time for conservatives to take a step back and look at our social values. Many are just outdated and often contradictory. I truly believe in the family. I believe that if you have a kid with somebody, it is your moral obligation to stay with the other parent until the kid is old enough (at least his teens) to handle a separation. The whole concept of sanctity of marriage is crap. There is no sanctity left in marriage. People get married have three kids, then get divorced. Nobody gives a rat's ass. When two people decide to spend the rest of their life together, they can't. Why because of the outdated bullshit about gays being evil. It's nonsensical. There is now a huge fiasco about Howard Stern. I think Howard Stern is aiming it a bit directly towards Bush, but he does make some good points. This is America. We value free speech. It is up to you prevent your kids from listening to shit like Stern. If it is making money it means people are listening. So we are just censoring what people want to listen to. Conservatives need to go through their moral values with a sieve and pick out those that are outdated and just cause a nuisance to everybody else.

You just made a bunch of statements most people agree with, aside from the Howard Stern thing. Its like saying you're against murder. Who's for murder? No one. How about something more progressive.
