I was at school Friday, our last day before spring break, when I was stopped by and administator in ththe hall. He asked to see me in his office, so reluctantly I followed. Once seated in his office, He pointed at my backpack, and at the "manji" or "Sauvistika" on the front. Then proceeded to call me a nazi, and tell me that racial slurs are not appreciated at school. I sat in shock, how could anyone be so ignorant, and close minded. The swastika is not just a nazi symbol. It is an ancient symbol that was perverted by the nazi's. It is a symbol for good fortune. Also, the symbol on my backpack was counter clockwise, not clockwise like the one the nazi's used. The Manji with the counter clock-wise design is a Nightly symbol, while the clock-wise is a solar symbol. The swastika has been used in Japanese buddhism for years, pull your heads out of your asses and get a clue.

You should know better.
Most intelligent people know that a swastika has other meanings, but the people that don't know any better will be the ones that kick your ass for having a swastika on your pack, clockwise or counter-clockwise.
You're not even funny by doing this. I could give two shits less about your freedom of speech, because you seem to be the type who would say something nasty out of context and get your ass kicked by some neanderthal that you said it to. I give you a plus one because you're right. But you should have know that NOBODY was going to take it that way unless you're skin color isn't white and even then doubtfully.
I was once wearing an anti. That's the German swastika with a circle and a slash through it and I was approached by a black lady in the mall and she was screaming in my face "What is that?! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" and jabbing me with her finger while pointing to it. I was totally shocked and freaked out. Of course she shut the fuck up when I had to explain it to her, the dumb bitch.

There's a town in Northeastern Ontario called Swastika. The guys who found gold there, one of their girlfriends had a swastika as a good luck charm, so that's what they named it.
There's a company in that town called Swastika Labratories. To me, that sounds like something straight out of Wolfenstein.

While this guy is a moron you do have to realise that this knowledge is not exactly "common". Walking around with a swastika on your back, even the uninverted one, means that some people, and not just this guy, will think you are a nazi.
It's a sorrowful state of affairs and not one I agree with but you do have to be careful with such potent symbols and such a poor education system.
