Turns out we were driving a ball of fire for about 5 miles before they come flying up on us like a streak of shit, flashing their lights and what not. Making us all paranoid and scared. Once they got beside us they screamed "Your car is on fire! Your car is on fire!". By god it was. So we pull over and bail outta our 1977 Ford LTD death trap. Fire department is called and the fire was put out.
Earlier in the day we fixed the front brakes but failed to check the rears, thus resulting in fire and excitement.
Moral of the story: Fords suck, they start on fire.
