Just once I'd like to see this self righteous, over-rated, steroid eating, arrogant prick run after hitting a homer instead of standing there like a self absorbed asshole.

well, the auto +2 is for positive baseball posts.....however, i agree that even if you crack one that everyone in the whole ballpark knows is going yard including the drunk guy in the bleachers, you should drop your bat and flat out run to 1st...even if you are barry bonds.
but i do like the way he conducts himself as far as not showboating.
no matter what, even with free agency, strikes, pretty boys,etc. no sport even comes close to what baseball means. it is more than just a sport.

When I was little, I used to watch games with my father. He got really turned off by the players strike and hasn't watched baseball with anything approaching regularity for ten/fifteen years. His big sport now is football, which works, because so is mine.

I am sooo sooo bitter about the direction that baseball has gone.
When I was a little kid, I used to watch baseball and think of the rest of the year as the offseason.
Now, I am considering starting to follow a European soccer team just to kill the time waiting for football season to start.

Haha, amen Drink. Marquis shocked me the other day vs Johnson (who sucks more cock than King). Hopefully Morris is going to perform well, and like-wise with Woody. Simontacchi pissed me off last year. This is no joke, in the second game of their series vs Arizona I was watching the game via Yahoo's GameChannel and the Cards put Simontacchi in left field for an inning. I about shit myself laughing.
I laughed about as much as I did when I realized not only does Ray Lankford still play, but the Cards obviously went insane and thought that resigning him would be a good deal. I hate Tooguchi and I wish Bo Heart would come back to the majors and stab him.

I can't make fun of the cubs at the moment, because it appears they have a good team. And the cards will go nowhere with the combination of shitty pitching, Tony LaRussa, and Dave Duncan (dumb and dumber).
LaRussa over manages himself into 15 extra losses per season. Dave Duncan ruins pitchers' careers and needs a fucking haircut.
Fabish, Marquis actually looked good the other day. Fuck (Burger) King (Kong), fuck Simontacci, fuck Lincoln, and maybe fuck Woody Williams too.
Also, fuck So "what" Tagooky too. He looks like a 12 year old japanese girl, and hits like one too.

Cards are kicking ass, although they did lose to Houston tonight. Pujols is hitting the nuts out of the ball finally, and so is the rest of their powerful, nonsteroided line-up. Pitching still sucks, but what can you do? (KILL KING AND MARQUIS)
I hope Bonds dies. I hope he hits the ball so hard, stands there, raises his hands over his head, and his torso blows up.
