See the evil dead series.
They are horror movies that are rediculously funny in parts. On many levels, but mostly slapstick.
For example, in the second movie, Ash, the main character, has his right hand possessed by the spirits of the Necromonicon Ex Mortis (the book of the dead), and it beat the shit out of him, so he gets all badass and cuts it off with a chainsaw. It then comes alive again, so he shoots it with a shotgun.
The first and second movies are basically the same, but that doesn't matter, for a good review of the third one, go to: http://maddox.xmission.com/aod.html .
The main character is played by Bruce Campbell, a real man, who's chin can kill a man from twenty paces.

Brisco County premiered the same night as the X-files. My friends and I all gathered to watch Briscoe, and we just went ahead and watched X-files for the hell of it. I loved them both, and X-files went on to be my all time fave.
Raimi also did Spiderman and Darkman.

Oh man, the Evil Dead movies rock... Sam Raimi also directed "The Quick and the Dead", and you can definitely tell.
Now, does anyone remember Bruce Campbell in the very short-lived tv show "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr."?

The movies are awesome, the second one, specifically...
This post, on the other hand, wasn't awesome.

Pussy is great too. If you did a post like this one, only lauding pussy, I'd still -2 it, because it's just not interesting

Sam Raimi went to Michigan State University. A girl I used to...er, date...was in the film program at MSU. 'Sam Raimi this' and 'Sam Raimi that'. Notice an MSU shirt in (I think) evil dead 2.

I remember Brisco County Jr. It was a goofy funny show as I recall. My father used to record it every week and watch it over & over.
Evil Dead & AOD rule. I recently picked up Evil Dead (First one) on DVD at a pawn shop for $6
