Regular readers of my posts will already be aware of what I do for a living.
For those of you who don't, here's a quick recap:
I work the nightshift at a housing project that caters to those with particular needs thus enabling them to live ordinary lives within the community. I won't go into details. If you're interested, I have written at great length about some of these individuals in previous posts. Obviously, the names of everybody involved have been changed for reasons I need not explain.
But this post is about what I have been getting up to recently because I have a lot of time on my hands after midnight on most shifts. It's usually eight hours of doing absolutely fuck all. In the last two months it has been particularly uneventful.
But it was only in the last week that I first began to notice that I was turning a little peculiar.
At first, I thought I was losing my mind. Then I realised that this was inevitable.
Put very simply, a young man with an overactive imagination and too much time on his hands should never ever be left unsupervised in a professional environment.
There is no telling what might happen.

I just wish I had more props to work with. If I wore a tie to work I could have turned it into a bandana and gone commando. Or if I had thick black felt-tipped pen - camoflage! Maybe next time. If I haven't been put in here with the rest of the inmates by then.
