So many tears have flowed down this face,
It surprises me that it's not as wrinkled as an old woman.
Maybe if I stop drinking water, there will be no more tears to cry.
Maybe if I stop eating, the pain in my stomach would bring my attention away from the pain in my
heart,
Although nothing can stop this pain in my head,
This constant confusion, frustration, and depression...
It seems to be eating away at my soul,
Bite by bite I can feel myself deteriorating away.
Every day is a bigger battle,
The war just seems to be getting larger and larger,
Only now the troops in my brain don't know who their enemy is and who their comrade is.
Running in circles, searching for shelter, for some form of peace
There is none to be found.
Feels like rabid dogs attacking me with no sign of release
I'm so confused,
I don't even know what I feel
What I believe in
What I want in life
I don't know any of these things anymore.
So now you can see you're tearing my world apart
Although I know you still love me,
And I love you too,
This pain is almost too much to bear,
But I'll go through it for you.
