Since hardly anyone actually reads any of my posts I've decided to let you try and gain a little insight into my personality by sharing with you some of my favourite things.
You'll soon realise that I'm a man of very discerning taste thus making me somebody whose posts you want to review, positively.
So, in no particular order within the categories here they are:
Movies
Godfather 1 & 2 (counts as one movie as they both cover the book)
Empire Strikes Back
Big Lebowski
Goodfellas
Platoon
Books
Catcher in the Rye (JD Salinger)
Something Happened (Joseph Heller)
The Outsider (Albert Camus)
Catch 22 (Joseph Heller)
Collected Short Stories (Saki)
Albums
Exile on Main Street (Rolling Stones)
White Album (Beatles)
Hunky Dory (David Bowie)
Still (Joy Division)
Straight Outta Compton (NWA)
See? I'm a man of taste.
To make this post a little more interesting I'll add in a cash prize quiz.
I'll send a shiny British two pound coin to the person that can correctly identify what soccer "stadium" this picture is of.

My only comments...
Catcher in the Rye sucked monkey balls. I hated everything about that book. It should be replaced with "To Kill A Mockingbird"
Everything else I either agree with or have never heard of.

Your list sucks.
How could you choose Platoon over Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now?
You don't have a single Kurt Vonnegut book, you chose a crappier Heinlein book instead of his best, Stranger in a Strange Land, and there's not a single Led Zeppelin or Hendrix album.
By the way, Catch 22 is boring, rambling shit, with only a few scattered good parts.
But whatever floats your boat, right?

Platoon was great until the end, where charlie sheen comes up with that "The real enemy was within us, in our own minds" (not a direct quote) crap. What a cliche.

It's not Ochilview.
It's Brockville, before they knocked it down.
The team that played there now ground share at Ochilview until their new ground is built.
Well done on your detective work, I believe you still deserve the prize of a shiny British £2 coin.

It's either Firs Park, Raydale Park, Central Park, Borough Briggs, Strathclyde Homes Stadium, Cappielow Park, Recreation Park, Bayview Stadium, Ochilview Park, Somerset Park, Brockville Park, Palmerston Park, or St. Mirren Park.
------------------------------
Good work.
The answer is in that list.
3 of them can be considered my "local" grounds.
One of them is a five minute walk from my house, one a fifteen minute walk and one a ten minute drive.
Now all you need to do is work out which of the grounds in your list are that close together.
Then from that you can probably work out where my house is, which is probably not a good thing for me.

You know every now and then, a really great movie comes along with that perfect combination of acting, directing, story line, and dialog that you just get carried off by them. Those are the movies that really stick with you and make you think. The truly great ones affect our very culture and language. Who has not heard phrases like, "here's looking at you kid", "play it again Sam", and "round up the usual suspects". Then there's Waterworld. Here is the entire list of memorable quotes from Waterworld.
Deacon: Don't just stand there, kill something!
Deacon: He's like a turd that won't flush!
Deacon: If I ever see him again, I'm going to cut open his head and eat his brain.
Deacon: Dry land is not just our destination, it is our destiny!
[speaking of dry land]
Mariner: Because I haven't seen it. And I've sailed further then most men have dreamed.
Deacon: Look its the gentlemen guppy.
Deacon: He'll see what's left of you in a goddamn jar!
Enola: He doesn't have a name so death can't find him!
Deacon: Wanna cigarette? Your never too young to start.
Mariner: : What are the markings on her back?
Helen: Some say it's the way to dry land.
Mariner: : Dry land is a myth.
Helen: No, you said it yourself, that you've seen it.
Mariner: You're a fool to believe in something you've never seen.
Helen: But the things on your boat!...
Mariner: The things on my boat, what!?
Helen: There are things on your boat that no one has ever seen. These shells, the music box and the reflecting glass. Well, if not from dry land, then where? Where!?
Mariner: You wanna see dry land. You really wanna see it? I'll take you there.
Deacon: Let's have an intelligent conversation here: I'll talk, and you listen.
Nord: [To the Mariner] You should have stayed under water.

Nope, I'm from the US. I don't find them to be very well known at all around here.
