I was watching 'Once upon a time in Mexico' today, and have decided this has got to be the best action film I have ever seen. Kill Bill was an OK movie, but it doesn't hold shit to OUATIM. The director did everything required to make sure of this, not to mention the actual screenplay.

Not only that, the minutes of good, interesting film outweighed the pieces of shit by like 10:1. So here are the positive aspects of OUATIM:

Mexicans (and whites painted with dirt or brown paint or something to look Mexican, like that guy from Platoon) shooting each other.
A coup in which the above is rampant.
Guitar cases, ie: gun guitar case, flame guitar case, remote control car bomb guitar case, money guitar case, and of course the guitar guitar case which was the least interesting but it still proves a point, which I can't remember.
Secret agent dog.
Johnny Depp getting his eyes cut out then leading a small mexican boy through the street in a very 'Michael Jackson-esqe' manner.
When people get shot, they fly. The physics are fucked up just the way they should be in an action movie.
Lots of betrayal.
The only movie I can remember where at least one party in the movie ends up with lots of money they didn't start with, even if it is worthless Mexican money.

And the bad points:

Enrique Iglesias

On a seperate note, Deus Ex (AKA Do Sex, Jew Sex, Deuche Sex): Invisible War is probably the best video game I have ever played. Here are some of the good points:

The only FPS where the economy is more important than the kill count.
Best graphics ever (bump mapping, dot mapping, dynamic light mapping, dynamic shadows - all pretty fucking good).
Great story line.
First video game I have ever played where I actually felt guilty shooting one of the characters. It was the part where the nightclub owner offers you money and a free VIP pass to go out and kill the lawyer in his appartment, then when you get there the lawyer makes a better offer but without the pass. ANYWAY.
Always more than one way to finish a task, or to avoid doing the task.
The soundtrack and perfect 3D sound.

The bad points:

NONE.

So there you have it, best action movie, best video game. And might as well add, the best song is 'Through the wire' by Kanye West.

For the title.

I think it's pronounced "Day-us Ex" in proper latin.

Day-oos, but yeah.

-2 because 'Kill Bill' was better.
+4 because Johnny Depp is the best actor EVAR!

Nothing really good about your post here, and you forgot to mention the part of "Once a part a time" when Salma Hayek is all kicking ass and being hot which is a good fucking part. Also quoting a part of the movie and not explaining the context in which it was used for those that hadn't seen it kinda sucked too.

your a moron, once upon a time in mexico was garbage....however salma hayek's breasts deserve an oscar nomination. Only cool thing about this was how johnny depp's eyes look after they've been cut out

Have completed chrono trigger snes rom. It is OK, and may very well be the greatest snes game ever (was voted that), but it can't measure up to deus ex 2.
