First of all this isnt a funny post. So leave now if you want something funny.
Since your still here lets get started.
I have been pondering this question for a while. Love or hate. What is stronger?
This is acually a very popular question in poetry and other forms of art. Personally I am leaning more to Love being the strongest, but, its close.
Many people would argue that hate is stronger because if they really hate(I mean REALLY, BADLY HATE) some one they are willing to kill that person(s) to quench their thirst for hate.
Others say that Love is stronger because if your "in Love" then youl go to any extent to be with that person, posibly even kill someone.
Like I said earlyer, I am leaning more to Love, but its close.
Let me hear what you think.
Love? Hate? Or nether. Are they equil in power? Does it depend on circumstances?
Help me decide!

Love or hate is an issue to which many come, and true the opposite of love and hate is epithy. however i am more into hate, love has gotten many people nowhere however hate has made many successful, Hitler, decided to kill jews as a way to get back at them for not getting into a jewish art school.... however you dont see many text books written on people who use love to conquear like barbara striesend or anything but thank god text books arent written on her then the world would need to be destroyed....

Your point about being willing to kill is balanced by someone really, really in love being willing to die. Both of them take the emotion to the extreme and provide nice equal opposites.

actually neither is stronger. Poets bore me to death because they put common sense in a form of rhetoric and call it poetry.
Like everything that has to do with emotion, it comes down to the individual. Bottom line. Their perception, morals, ideals or whatever word you would like to use.
Everyone is different so there is honestly no way to determine which is stronger, again, it comes down to what that specific persons mentality is on whither he prefers to love or hate.
I myself think hatred is a weakness. For example, its easy to fly off the handle and get mad. Its human nature, but to be able to turn and walk away from some idiot calling you names or whatever the scenario maybe be, takes alot more strength.
Thank you for letting me put in my 2 cents.

Just for the hell of it:
The opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of hate is not love. The opposite of both hate and love is apathy.
Explanation you ask? Don't mind if I do. Hate and love are both strong emotions. Apathy is the absence of emotion. Therefore, the opposite of any emotion would be apathy. Mwahahahaha

Love = -(Hate)
abs(Love) = abs(-Hate)
Love = Hate
Fear, however, is much stronger than either Love or Hate.

I clearly stated what I had a problem with...
"There's no place made for stating that this topic should not be here, either because you've no interest in it, because you feel it's a crappy post, because of grammatical issues, or any other reason you can think of."
...and what I didn't.
"You can rant and rave about commas and hyphenations and capitalizations and compare content to the results of male bovine bowel movements."
If you want to make comments about the nature of the post, fine. Grammar nazi? Fine. Totally illogical? Fine. What I don't like, and I don't feel there is a place for, according to the Ubersite creed, is saying that "Uber isn't for that kind of stuff". On the contrary, Uber is exactly for that kind of stuff. Again, if you don't care about that kind of stuff, fine. Say it. Think it was poorly-written? Shout it from the rooftops. Hell-bent on -2ing the heck out of a post because you've had a bad day? Fire away. ATTN GHEY MENZ? Sure, if that's your bag.
But don't go saying someone shouldn't post "that kind of thing" on Uber, because that's precisely what it's there for.
Stay orange.

You're right, but should this place not also remain a place where anyone can comment on a post, in in any way they choose, whenever they want?
Sounds like a double standard to me...everybody's supposed to give this guy a group hug because he CAN post stupid shit and chooses to do so?
No.

The content of Ubersite is created by anyone who wishes to create content for Ubersite. Every user who reads content can rate the content as to its usefulness. Cut and dry, that is it.
I take this to mean that anyone (including RagnarokPrime) who wishes to create content (Dictionary.com: "The subject matter of a written work, such as a book or magazine. Often used in the plural." I think this post is safely included in this definition) may do so.
You and I have the opportunity, as readers, to rate the content as to its usefulness.
Bottom line? This is not a board for an exclusive selection of topics. It is an all-inclusive, free-market discussion forum, where content is "bought" by whomever wants it. There's no place made for stating that this topic should not be here, either because you've no interest in it, because you feel it's a crappy post, because of grammatical issues, or any other reason you can think of. You can rant and rave about commas and hyphenations and capitalizations and compare content to the results of male bovine bowel movements. But Ubersite was, is, and will continue to be a sanctioned place for whatever anyone wants to post, whenever they feel like it.
Stay orange.

I mean i actually think you put thought into your shit as opposed to some moron just posted some dumbass two sentences. So i say to myself, "Is this kid really that inept at posting? Nah, hes just having an offday.". So when offday becomes offmonth, then i will give you the famed KM status of not reading.

Jinky im sorry but you're 100% wrong. There is a reason that a -2 is in the ratings, its so that people can show their dislike for a post. It makes no sense for you to say things like dont read it or move on or whatever the hell you said.
Hmm, i can read a post, realize it blows, then ignore it. OR i could read a post, realize it blows, -2 it, and save somebody else the bother of reading it.
Ragnorok - I give everyone a chance to hopefully show they can write decently. Look at TMA. He sucked forever and they started writing decent shit. The only i never read on purpose is KoolMang because he fucking blows. But that took forever. You still have a whole lot more -2s coming your way before you hit KM status. Or you could just write something decent.
I wont hold my breath.

The point isn't WHY we need to know. The truth is, we don't NEED to know about anything that's written here. With that kind of mindset, I could go around -2ing everything.
If you want the real point of the article, it's this:
I got a virus. It was annoying. I'm an idiot for almost breaking my hand again. People at my school are idiots for sending out an email about a virus that attacks through the internet.
Other than that, there is no point. I write about everything. Sometimes I just make shit up. That's what this site is for. The point of the site itself is that there is no point. If you can't understand that, then this site isn't for you.

1. This line is one big mistake. The mistake is this: It pisses me off.
2. You're, not your.
3. Someone is one word
4. you don't need the (s) in this case, unless you precede it with 'that/those'
5. See 2
6. You'll
7. Possibly: not posibly
8. Earlier: y changes to i
9. Neither: not nether
10. Equal: not equil
How you couldn't find them, I will never know. Spellchecking before writing that reply would have been wise, but I may be asking too much. I'm not even going to list the punctuation errors. That would make this lengthy reply TOO lengthy. Either way, start paying attention in your junior high English class.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
I did a report on that poem last year.

It depends on what you mean by "love". I will be writing this using "love" as a positive emotional affinity/attachment toward another.
I think one's capacity for love equals one's capacity for hatred. They both stem from passion. If you allow yourself to experience passion with regards to a goal, or a person, you are able to experience that much more vividly the emotions that accompany that passion, be them positive or negative. If you close yourself off to emotion and feelings, you'll not ever hate to the extent that another may, but you'll not experience love to any great extent, either.
I've a lengthy discourse on what I believe to be the nature of love here on Ubersite, but I cannot find that reply, currently.
Stay orange.

Love usually hurts
Hate usually kills
vice versa
You only hate someone because you did love them or care for them.
If you didnt love them then you wouldn't care enough to hate them.
Right?? I guess...
Depending on the person or circumstance you can weigh both individually. Cant really say which is stronger.

I can be driven by hate. Hate gives me a reason. Hate won't let me stop ruining some fuckers life because he thought I would lie down and take it, and not get him back 10 times over for fucking with me. Hate, and what it drives me to do, leaves me with a (false) sense of power and accomplishment.
