This is a NORMAL question about MAYA that my friends and I have.
Of all the people on Uber, do/have any of you use MAYA?
And if you do/have, I need your help.
I am in a self-teach class and no one, even teacher, can figure out why MAYA is crashing when we try to eddit, move, delete particles. The computers are not themself at error. MAYA itself crashes.
If any of you can help me, I would be greatfull to no end.

I don't know what everyone else's problem is here. If they don't want to answer the question, fine.
However, the grammar here does leave a bit to be desired.
With that said...
Do you have a registered version of Maya?
I'm sure they have forums online for that kind of thing, where you can ask questions and peers can answer. Personally, I've spent about 2 hours total in my life in any 3d rendering application, so I'll be no help beyond referring you to a reference source.
Photoshop, on the other hand, I can help you out with a bit.
Stay orange.

Make sure you have the port set to COM1 or that shit just wont work. Also, double check that disk caching in enabled, if its not, then yo shit will craaaaaaaaaaash. Try running it in a clean enviroment, NO USB KEYBOARDS OR MICE. And be sure to check the oil, the engine might be seizing.
what was your question again?

Stick your head out the window and yell "Tech support!!!!"
At least that way when people ask what you've already tried you can claim to of called tech support.

I had the same problem. Here's how I fixed it.
1. Unplug your computer.
2. Stick a metal paperclip in the socket.
3. Repeat until you die or are brain dead.
