right on. Halo 2 isn't as good as half-life 2, or doom III because those games aren't on a console system. the PC has alot better potention. of course. However, im not going to go out, and buy a new processor just to play half-life 2. so, Xbox all the way.

Well, halo was nothing special at all. Halo 2 is alot like it, except the graphics are a little better. It sure picked a bad time to come out, after Doom 3 and befor Half-Life 2. Halo 2 can't stack up aginst them, period. But hey, to each man his own.

Wow....This is the only reason everyone buys an Xbox,I still wouldnt buy that peice of crap because it costs $500. Now why would i spend $500 for one game?

Halo licked my nuts it was so bad, why would I be on the edge of my seat for the second? Seriously. I must be the only one thought the graphics were average, the gameplay clumsy, and the multiplayer was meh.
But I guess when you release an average PC game on a console people go apeshit because they're not used to it. So that probably explains the Halo phenomenon.

Fuck Halo, fuck the Xbox, it's all about the PC and PC games.
My game of choice right now is City of Heroes, it fucking owns.
If anyone on Uber plays, I know RB does, I play on the Guardian server,
I play as "Mr. Cold" or "Punishur" look me up, RB this goes for you too.
Although, if Halo 2 comes out for the PC a hell of a lot sooner than Halo did Ill probably play it. peace out bitches.

i think the technology used behind the xbox is inadequate to say the least, the use of foreign pixelated bodies to manipulate the refresh rate, in turn coaxalating the sync mode, is an old technique used by amiga 1600 users.
although the central diversional trip unit that produces the phlangeiant techno noises is extremely well crafted and shakes my grapes nicely.
halo 2 looks like a genomorph between mario bros and sensible soccer, i cant wait the end result as im sure it will gesticulate my protagonist brain cells into the aformentioned technogynochologist we all love to loathe and like.

I managed to play Halo 2 at E3 (I have connections).
It's incredible.
The graphics suffer a bit in multiplayer as of now (Less texturing/bump-mapping, not quite as sharp
as campaign) BUT, it fucking RULES. HOLY SHIT.
The controls and gameplay are really, really tight. So tight, in fact, that the game is the most fun I've ever played. It's like your character's movement is an extension of your mind.
Halo 2 will kill you. And then it will rape your corpse. And then it will soil your grave with its feces of pure awesome. Take it from me: This is the best game ever, even at this 50% stage.

It sucked, until someone cracked it for me. Now I can put movies on it and shit, bigger hard disk, rip dvds and games, and play all kinds of roms (N64, SNES, GBA) etc. And, obviously, games are much cheaper. We're all waiting for halo 2 though, since there truly are lots and lots of horrible games for the xbox, and only a handful of truly golden games.
