I went to high school with the lead singer of the above mentioned band. We both were in the punk rock scene(Back when it fucking sucked ass). Hung around in the same group of friends and went to the same shows and shit.
Anyway to make a long story short I don't really watch to much T.V. and if I do it certainly is not mtv. I happen to catch their video all downhill from here. Dude that shit is weak man. Now I understand the pressures of the music business as well as the fact that they have more talent in their whole body than I have in my pinkie finger. I don't understand if the kids nowadays think thats punk? Why is a punk band(I'm assuming by the clothing and general look of the band) playing shitty pop complaint rock?
P.S. If your shirt cost more than fifty cents your not punk.

First off I would like to classify the word punk. Punk is not music, punk is not clothing, punk is not attitude. Punk is a way of life. It has nothing to do with music or clothes or anything. Even if your shirt cost more that fifty cents you can still be punk. Punk is now aday a warped reality for highschool kids who think it is cool to be different. But by them being different they are all the same.
Second Punk Rock is a style of music. NFG is not one of those. I am not saying I do not approve of their music. It is just that they arn't punk rock. Punk rock is Rancid, maybe some AFI or even some Misfits (oldschool baby).
People that try to act punk arn't bad people they are just fallint into the society these hgihschool kids are trying to get out of.
And punk bands..they are not classified by clohting or looks they are classfied by the music that they produce. Thank you goodbye.

+1 because I happen to like New Found Glory.. they got me into the punk scene, whether or not they really ARE punk. They opened doors, and I can't really explain why..
