I was online today when I noticed a banner. It said "Pre-order your copy of Clinton's memoir today." This shocked me. Why would he write this? Better yet why would anyone want to buy it let alone pre-order it? Maybe Clinton was thinking "Oh my wife wrote a book, made lots of money, so can I!"
Here's a quote from the Barnes and Noble website: "Like Hillary Clinton's bestselling Living History, the book is expected to rocket to the top of bestseller lists." Is that because this book will be telling us all about how to sleep with interns and get away with it? If it is hell I'll buy it! Especially if it's got some very descriptive real life "occurences". With pictures that have titles like "Yeah she just fell onto my lap!" No wait...there is porn for that kind of crap. So why buy this book? If you've got an idea please tell me because I'm at a loss.

I hated Clinton. He doesn't deserve all the credit for the economy. A lot of the credit goes to Bush (the first) and the democratic congress at the time. The raised taxes and cut spending and lost their jobs because of it, but it made the U.S. better of in the long run.

Yeah but it would have took a lot of effort, but then again I don't like Bush too much either and I do think he made quite a few mistakes.

Eh.. Bush could have kept things the way they were... nothing forced him to change them. But he did, and sent us into a deficit, two wars, and lowered our international respect to nothing.

I don't like Clinton because yes his policies were great and what not but he had them set exacty so they would end right after his eight years, ie. to make him look better than his successor. But that's just my ten cents.

Even if he banged an intern, he was still (in my opinion) the best president since FDR. His economic policy, international policies, and social programs made him so, and who wouldn't want to read about what it's like to be president?

As much as I want to hate Clinton over Rwanda, the guy is still awesome. I'll definitely buy his memoirs.

I suppose that many men might like tips on how to hold on to a career requiring outwardly moral behaviour, and a marriage, whilst being a raging philanderer, but no, the subject holds little fascination for me.
