And verily, PAS complied. Lo, here is the afforementioned orchard, in fact it is a verdant paradise with which to feast the eyes.

And there is fruit in this garden, an apple tree for Eve and a pear tree for Adam (he likes a nice juicy pear). And there is a shed for storage of ones tools and wood. And a clothes line which turns in the wind like a magical spinning top. And a wonderful pathway through the centre of the luscious lawn. One is indeed blessed with her ample foliage.

Okay, okay I admit it, it's a ratbag of a garden. We will move house this year (by hook or by crook). I'm not naturally green fingered (who is apart from The Hulk?) and gardening is such a chore. But if I had a bigger lawn I might just have to hire someone to mow it for me. Shirtless. Grrrr

And I'm not doing this for you Zone - I'm doing it for Apollo!

heh.

Looks like my yard only smaller. At least you have less to mow!

PS: I tell people that I leave my yard (or garden) like this because I am doing the environmentally friendly thing by never mowing and letting the preditor-prey relationships of the insects remain intact.

I don't think that anyone believes me, but you could try it and see if your neighbors do.

For finally getting the picture to upload or download...whatever.
I guess you call it a backgarden cause it is about the size of
a garden in my yard. I will post my yard soon...I expect a rank
from PAS and Apollo . doesnt' have to be positive, just acknowledgement.

It's lovely. My dogs completely tromped up my zucchini earlier this week. They were protecting our fine city from a raccoon and it would appear that my garden was the epicenter of the battle. The only reasons my tomatoes made it was that they are safely in cages. Depending on how tough the stuff it, I may only have store bought zucchini this year.

So this is what England looks like.

It looks a lot like Kensington! K420 and MickGinny would know what I'm talking about.

You're moving? Congratulations. So am I, though I don't know when. Maybe 4 months or so. I'm Phoenix bound. No more snow for me.

My second story "back garden" actually has been posted:

http://www.ubersite.com/m/20000

this is a pic of when they had ripped the deck out and were in the process of replacing it.

its back now, and better than ever.

Not all gardens are the same reallybored. For example there are naked cheerleaders in my shed creating a human triangle.

I bet Apollo didn't have that in his tin shack!! What was that thing - a nuclear bunker perhaps?
