Here's an idea:
A satellite-radio station (like XM or Sirius) that plays "X-Rated" content. Bands and artists that are normally labeled 'explicit content' will be played from start to finish without bleeps and interruptions. Radio DJs like Howard Stern, Imus, Bob and Tom, etc can broadcast during the morning and late night hours.
And just like XM and internet radio, listeners will pay a monthly subscription fee. If possible, protect children from hearing x-rated content with a 'V-Chip' device, similar to those present in today's newer televisions.
What do you think?

I agree, the only people who bother to be explicit and rapists are the rappers. Rockers sing about good shit, so the station would just be explicit rap. -2 for the kaffers.

The only CD's labeled "Explicit Content" are rap CD's, so you get a -2 for even thinking about polluting the air with more G-Unit and Nelly.

XM Satellite radio has been a somewhat popular stock over the past year. If Stern owns this stock, he's rabbiting it with his listeners. If he can make more money on satellite he will go there, and if he can't he will remain on the public airwaves despite any problems with the FCC.

Interesting idea, however I don't think it's even necessary. I think America's legal resources would be better spent prosecuting hardcore porn and other obscenties on the internet, where there is essentially no system of safeguarding children, and so much technically illegal and blatantly illegal porn is just flourishing on this frontier. How much harm can descriptions of sexual acts cause? What about simply using the word "fuck"? Does that really harm anyone? Seeing a woman being raped, or being exposed to and viewing explicit deviant sex acts at a young age, now that is harmful.

Great idea dumbass! How are you gonna pay for the music rights and famous show hosts ?
Unless you grow golden pubic hair on your disgusting crotch, this is idea won't even get past the foetal stage.
