Many of you may not know who Michael Savage is. I know I didn't until today. After some extensive research about him and the "Paul Revere Society" I can tell you that a little part of me as an American died.
I am all for free speech, don't get me wrong, but some people are fucking insane. First and foremost let me give you the eight points of the "Paul Revere Society's 8-Point Program":
1. Support Traditional Marriage
2. Close the Borders now.
3. Deport all illegal immigrants now.
4. Eliminate bilingual education in all states.
5. Require health tests for all recent foreign born immigrants.
6. Make tax cuts permanent.
7. End Affirmative Action
8. Tort Reform - Stop Class Action Lawyers
Now a quote from Michael Savage's own mouth:
"I tell you right now - the largest percentage of Americans would like to see a nuclear weapon dropped on a major Arab capital. They don't even care which one ... I think these people need to be forcibly converted to Christianity. It's the only thing that can probably turn them into human beings"

Michael Savage and people like him are the very reason that so many people hate America. Mr.Savage even makes me, an American, hate America. How the fuck could a person even say something like that and think that he is speaking for anybody but himself and a small faction of right wing nut jobs?
And oh, did you catch that, he indirectly calls non-Christian Arabs animals. What is going through this asshole's head? Does he not get that by insulting people like that just perpetuates the hate between our cultures? And I know for sure that these comments get shared with the Arab world as well. That being because amongst the various websites that you can find Mr.Savage's quotes on you can find them on the Al-Jazeera site(http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/68874930-36DE-4F98-A288-8CC9E031B9C6.htm).
Also if you check out Michael Savage's site (http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/index.html) you will find him using images of slain and dying Americans to further his causes. He has the video of Nick Berg's murder and people jumping out of the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks. Once again I must assert that this guy is a total asshole. Not even your run of the mill asshole but maybe even the asshole to end all assholes.
If I may I would like to add some of my own comments to PRS's eight points.
1. Support Traditional Marriage-There is nothing wrong with feeling like same sex couples shouldn't get married. You are totally entitled to feel that way. However the reason most people feel this way is because they think it is a sin against God. The last time I checked there is supposed to be a seperation of church and state. Although some laws are influenced by religion we shouldn't make something illegal because the Bible says its wrong.
2. Close the Borders now.-This whole god damn country was founded by immigrants. What the fuck? Are whole heritage is based upon immigration and to a greater extent fucking up the native inhabitants.
3. Deport all illegal immigrants now.-Illegal immigrants do all the shit that nobody else wants to do. When was the last time Juan got that big promotion and the corner office with the great view instead of you?
4. Eliminate bilingual education in all states.-Why? Children of immigrants who struggle with English should not have the same opportunities to learn as white english speaking kids?
5. Require health tests for all recent foreign born immigrants.-I think Hitler would have liked this one.
6. Make tax cuts permanent.-Once and for all people. Taxes pay for things you use. You know how you drive on roads? Those are paid with tax dollars. When your life gets fucked up and you have to temporarily depend on the government for some help? Those are also tax dollars. National Forests? Tax dollars help maintain them and keep them healthy and, you know, there and shit. Oh yeah that war that Mr.Savage loves so fucking much. That is also being paid for with tax dollars. Not by my choice but by the choice of the chickenhawks in the US government who I didn't vote for by the way.
7. End Affirmative Action-Yes! I agree with this totally. People of color in the United States are not at a social or economic disadvantage at all. Well how could they be? They weren't brought here as slaves and then when they weren't slaves, segregated and then when not segregated, still prejudiced against. Its certainly doesn't put you at a disadvantage when applying for a job because racism and prejudice no longer exist. (I certaily hope some people understand sarcasm.)
8. Tort Reform - Stop Class Action Lawyers-Admittedly, I am not totally up on my Tort Reform but if this asshole is for it then I am certainly against it. I know that seems stupid and ignorant but hey, I'm human, I have to do it every once in a while.
If I have offended anybody I'm not sorry. Because if you think any of Michael Savage's points are valid then you are either racist or stupid.

8. Class action lawyer raise prices for everybody. In addition to creating less and less doctors just so they can get rich, the people they represent are mostly frauds, and they don't even get virtually any of the money anyway.

Laws supporting the beating of the wife or polygamy or even "an eye for an eye" out date our constitution. That doesn't mean they're correct...does it? Because if old laws supersede laws that are fair then, well, blacks are still slaves and not allowed to vote, women are not allowed to vote and in hotels in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, every room is required to have twin beds. I suspect that you disagree with these actions and have singled out an embaressment to discredit them. Attacking a someone's person instead of their messsage is a clear indicator that you are also a twat. You have also failed to give any reasons as to why you disagree with these points. I don't think you can.
Michael Savage is a twat. Everyone needs to realise that they do not know whether god exists or not and become an agnostic. They need to discover this themselves and not be forced into accepting it as this only means they are only pretending to accept it and is an oppression of the right t othe freedom of speach.

You made your points badly and although I think I agree with your basic sentiment, I must give minus one for you mistaking "stop class action lawsuits" for 'class action lawyers' and not knowing what tort reform means. Research a tiny bit more before you post on such a topic.
(Basically he wants class action lawsuits stopped- when many people together sue one defendant (e.g smokers vs. big tobacco) for a large, split verdict.)
The rest of your segue was better, but your points were sloppy and weak. Again, I agree with mosr of your sentiment so you are spared the horror of a (-2)

There are alot of reasons why he states those ideas. And he can say what he wants, even if it is racist (which I don't believe). He is pro-American.
So you get -2. Sorry... Criticizing people by calling them racist is a low-form of liberal antics that is unwarranted.
You may have alot of fans who hate conservatives/libertarians on here that will agree with you, but I think you do better without calling people a "nazi", "evil", or "racist".

I'm not sure of the context of the Savage quote you have there but when I read it, it sounded like he was saying that the people who want to nuke the middle east were the animals not the Arabs...
It really doesn't matter, though... Savage is a douchebag either way.

Oh, and affirmative action still has a place in today's society. For instance, many tests (Including IQ tests) are biased. Not intentionally biased, but the way they were designed they favour certain people over others.
There have been studies done on it. People have even exploited these studies to try to show that blacks and hispanics are actually dumber than whites and asians. It's not true, it's a problem with the tests... oops... I kinda got off topic.
