I was listening to "An American Prayer" by The Doors, and a lyric recited was 'Do you know we are ruled by TV?"
Then the wheels in my mind started to turn and how be damn we are.
I myself don't watch tv... cause it's so fucking boring. But when this dialogue occurs... the world has gone wrong:
What are you doing?
Watching tv?
What are you watching?
I don't know... I think it's a documentary.
About what?
I don't know.
Then why are you watching it?
I don't know... nothing better to do.
Yeh there is. Read a book, go blow up something... start a religion, or plan a murder.
Nah. I'll just watch this.
When there's nothing on your schedule and you watch tv... fuck that.
It's not good now that the only thing on tv anymore is one person raids three other people's, they've never met, rooms and decide which one they want to fuck by the end of the night, or a show about the 80's. What the hell happened during the 80's anyway? The o-zone layer got a big hole from hair bands using hair spray... if that's anything. Oh... wait MTV was born. Fuck that, MTV sucks.
MTV is what is kill everything. Everyone's intelligence has decreased because they decided to talk 'ghetto' or what-the-fuck-ever. Adding -izzle to the end of every word is not a language, it's just stupid. Then they give little girls and boys the inspiration to be rappers and rock stars... but they end up thugs and sluts.
Hell MTV isn't even 'music' television anymore... just a bunch a shows about 20 year olds wanting to hook up and fuck and other gay shit.
The rest of tv shows are sports... which suck, the news, and tv-edited movies. If the movie isn't already tv appropriate... don't show it. I saw "Heat" on FOX awhile back and parts of the shoot-out were cut... GAY! That was one of the best parts of that flick, you don't cut that. Then some movies they cut an entire scene, and you have no clue what happened, and you are left bewildered until you get $5 to rent the movie.
Murder your TV.

I'm glad you don't watch TV. You missed the news bulletin about me murdering your parents after reading your post.
Hey, I wasn't going to, but my only other choice was to watch TV.
