Let's put it this way:
This is a place where people can share their own creations, whether it be stories, rants, observations, questions, pictures, games, entertainment, drama, pretty much anything you can think of. As long as it really IS something. One line isn't anything. You need CONTENT. You need VALUE. You need PURPOSE. You need to not be wasting our time or space on the front page.
This pretty much knocks out 90% of the shit you'd find on a normal message board, livejournal entry, or blog. And posts like this one.
