a dream i had a while back

i'm standing just inside a large (16th of 17th century??) mansion, the two sets of stairs that rise to meet and make a balcony one storey above and in front of me. old paintings of familys dusty and cobwebbed hang on the wall. i wander between the staircases into the room under the staircase balcony where a long table sits with 4 chairs set about it with dining settings at each chair of tarnished silver and ornate crystal glassware. i think i catch sight of a man dressed in black standing off to the side, i turn my head to see him just vanish around the corner, he doesn't make a sound as he walks. i follow him warily always just catching sight of him just as he passes around another corner. i follow up a flight of stairs carpeted in red and come to a long hallway only to see no sign on the man in the suit. i went directly to the door at the end of the hall nad entered expecting the silence to be an indication of who was there. to my surprise is found the room full of well dressed (old english style) attractive women. i make the most of this weird situation and get chatting to some of the women. i find out that they are vampiresses and i have stumbled upon their dwelling. after minutes more of chatting they discover that i am not a vampire. as it turns out they cannot let me leave the house till i am a vampire too. anyways after spotting one of them i particularly like, my powers of pursuasion end me up with this deal. they can bite me and turn me into a vampire on the condition that i can have sex with one of them, after all there are only female vampires here. i am a little reluctant to become a vampire but can't get out of it, so i make the most of it. the scene kindof cuts to after the moment and the vampiress lies alseep in a four post bed. she looks peaceful so i leave the room and once out in the hall i encounter another female vampire. she asks if i have been bitten and, thinking quickly, i claim i have (lie). she informs me that i am to be kept as a sex type slave and although it sounds good im not to keen on fathering a race of vampire babies. she suggest we go and get down to it and we do. another cut later and we are relishing the afterglow. considering im naked she notices that i have no bite marks and questions me again about if im a vampire yet, i tell her i was bitten in an 'out of the way place'. she belives me for now and i leave for a while. finally she cathes up with me and we happen to walk past a mirror, of course i am finally found out and she leads me to a room and unlocks it, inside is the most beautiful of the vampires i have seen, quite obviously their queen or something. she tells me that i must be bittenin front of all the vampires in the house or die, i choose to be bitten, on one condition, that i get 'the bite' during a 69er. as it is my last request before i become the living dead it is granted before the witnesses. at this point i wake up and the light hurts my eyes, i feel drowsy like ive been donating to the red cross and i have a tent pitched in my boxer shorts
-dream end-

meanwhile, today i hired 'the league of extraordinary gentlemen' and the scence where peta wilsons character bites phantoms henchman in the neck gives me wood.

actually there isn't anything unusual about the dream. i always got a woody during interview with a vampire only because of the power position that i was jealous of... hehehehe.

in any case, it's certainly not unusual for any guy to have a dream in which a fear is being dealt with pleasure. i had one similar (setting was in the woods not a mansion and i was held down with many women) where i was being drained and COMPLETELY turned on. but then i realized that this dream came the day after my best friend from high school told me about his girlfriend... who kept telling him she was on the pill, and actually she wasn't. so now she's "with child" and he (of course being a nice guy) did the "honorable" thing. i told him to sue her for the lying since he was having sex under false pretenses and was not responsible for her trickery. but that wasn't gonna stick, so another pretty decent looking guy gets stuck with a 4 or a 5 when he really deserved an 8 or a 9. that hurt. i hated to see my friend trapped like that.

this story was repeated with my brother (a "fake" out pregnancy - by a girl that puts the "ugh" in "ugly"), and with my roommate in NY. so by the time i heard from my old high school friend, i was totally freaked out and upset about the whole thing. hence the dream. being drained of life (and a future) by the most pleasurable act in the world. pleasure and pain... or at least the thought of pleasure and pain.

the point is, with me WHATEVER the reason... the mind set on a fear (or a drain) and mixing it with something pleasurable so as to deal with it. TOTALLY NORMAL - which is why most of us drink in the first place. fear could be real, could be made up, could be based on nothing. don't read into it too much. honestly, i usually worry about what CAUSED my mind to go in that direction more then anything else.

p.s. - "dream people" would say the guy leading you at the beginning is a friend leading you to a tale (or an experience) of the dual personality of women... the seductive nature and vicious monster... something which he has no knowledge of (since he's not present after leading you), and something which you think you have a handle on, but in the end, you know you don't, and you fail. you have an IDEA of the duality of women and how to handle them, so you work with what knowledge you got, and some girls fall for it, but not all will. knowing you can't possibly win, you choose to give up and fail... however, you hope that you will fail on your own terms, which COULD be arrogant of you, or it could be your way of coping.

(wish we could all "cope" that way! - lol).

this might have been better if you prefaced it with:

"This one time, at band camp."

Wasn't this an episode of Scooby-Doo?

Except in that episode, they pulled the masks off of the vampires, and the vampires were actually the local banker and his friends who were trying to claim the mansion for nonpayment of taxes. Then the banker cursed those meddling kids and their dog.

I think that the Harlem Globetrotters or the Three Stooges were involved somehow too.
