Nothing inspires a deeper feeling of nausea in me like the word "Grannie". I hate my Grandmother. Really, I do. My Father's Mother was forged with pure unfiltered evil.
It's odd really, I love my Nannie (my Mom's Mom) more then anyone else in the world. There is no one on this Earth who is more kind & has a better soul, granted she isn't the swiftest person either but she means well & genuinely cares about people & their well being. Grannie on the other hand should have been drowned after she gave birth.
I have taken some flak lately about deciding to abort if it is found that I am pregnant, but if I have any of this demons blood in me it's probably for the best for all involved. One of her favorite activities when my Dad was young was to take all of the dishes out of the cupboard, break them & then blame her 4 kids so that my Grandfather would beat them when he got home. I guess that the beatings that she administered herself just didn't have the same effect as watching them get a better one from an adult male. Nothing quite like watching an 8 year old get a black eye from someone 3 times their size.
Besides the fun-time beatings (which didn't stop with the kids but moved onto their Grandchildren later, specifically the boys) she also has an irrational hatred of my Mother & me by default. She never misses an opportunity to put either one of us down. My Mom could single handedly save an orphanage from an inferno while helping the blind cross the street & Grannie would still tell her that she wasn't good enough to marry her baby boy (that's a laugh when you consider that my Uncle was a lying drug addict & one Aunt married a convict. My other Aunt is fabulous & Grannie tolerates her husband because he has more money then God). Since I have two strikes against me already - related to Mom & a girl who can't pass on the family name - I get whatever bitterness is left over. And that's plenty.
We don't speak. I learned this from years of hearing her mutter racist propaganda against any friends I brought home when she was visiting. I also made the mistake of once saying good morning to our dog before I realized that Ultra-Bitch was in the room. That was 13 years ago but I still hear about it from relatives today. I especially enjoyed being locked in a room with no food for two days but being forced to wash the dishes for 14 guests that last time I visited her as a child. That was a great little treat. My crime? I didn't feel like going for a walk.
There are other tales of course, but they are too numerous to list in one post. Maybe I will save them up for her funeral.
I was soooooo happy to hear that she was having heart problems. I practically danced when she went in for a quadruple bypass. I am going to wear a bight lime green sundress & dance on her grave. My problem is the bitch just won't die. My greatest fear is that they will perfect cryogenics before she dies & then she can terrorize a whole new generation.
That keeps me up a night.
