You all don't know me yet. But I'm going to tell you a tale of excitement and action!
Yesterday as I was lying down for my nap, I heard a scratching sound. I looked around for the bloody cat, thinking she'd gotten in before I shut the door to my room. But she's not about, so I look to my closet door. There, crawling along the top, is a dark creature. At first sight, my brain decides "Oh! It's a big fuzzy person-eating spider!" I am arachnophobic. That would have been fun.
It obviously wasn't a spider. It was a bat. A furry little bat. And it flew at my head.
I ran downstairs. Screaming. Shutting the door behind me.
Somehow, the bat manages to get downstairs. Through the walls or something. It ends up hanging from the kitchen ceiling. My friend and I vanquish the foul creature with two towels and a broom.
It was exciting at the time.
And I know...I just KNOW it was a vampire. And it's been feeding on me for weeks. Why else would I be so tired all the time?
