Another tale about my friend Dan.
Dan's been having a bad day at work. At the end of the day, he has to walk a bit to get to his car. Evening in Wilmington, DE, a city with a lot of crime. Dan's a big guy. He's not worried. He's wearing his suit and tie, and carrying his briefcase, and the day is getting darker.
Dan walks towards his car. He goes to turn a corner on the block when a scrawny little guy jumps out at him with a butter knife, stares at him, and says "Give me your wallet."
Dan looks at the gun. Guy. Gun. Guy. Gun. He sighs heavily and reaches forward, grabbing the hand holding the protruding dull blade.
"You should've brought a gun."
Dan proceeds to beat the shit out of this guy, and then take the knife. He still has it to this day.
It should be noted that the exact same thing happend to my friend Keith that same week.
