My life I have searched for a mate, someone I could rely on, to trust. My whole life, which hasn't consisted of many years, I have searched for the perfect person to stand by my side when I am hurt, sad, or angry. My whole life I have searched, and have not found. A whole 16 years thought to have been wasted, looking for something indescribable. Something, that in my gut, I knew didn't exist, but yet I had to find. What was it that kept me going? What was it that kept me searching, even though I knew my efforts were fetal? 16 years of searching for something, and there was no motive? Oh, quite the contraire. There WAS something that has kept me going all those years, and for those of you out there reading this, you haven't to guess any longer, for there is one word. Music. My life, my love.
Call to mind all those moments in your life where a musical piece has changed your very self, or mood. Your mind has flourished in deep thought, all due to simple melodic strings that coincide with the emotions that flow through you. Your heart says one thing, and the music says another. You might assume they dislike each at first, but it's love at first sound.
Call me crazy, call me a lunatic, but the only thing you can rely on in this desolate world is the music in it. You can only assume that your husband or wife won't cheat on you. You can only assume that they won't grow tired of what you have to offer them. You know that as well as I do. But what you don't know, is that you can rely on MUSIC to change your emotions, to lift you from your sadness, to bring you to your knees in thanks, and praise.
Music is the universal langauge. You don't have to understand it to feel it, and you don't have to hear it to understand it. Music is in the heart, and with the heart comes love. I have found my life, and I have found my one true love.
