England 2 Portugal 3 (Penalties)
While the English are too busy putting their heads up their arses, Portugal are busy showing the rest of Europe how to play football. They had their heads screwed on this time. They didn't get bored of losing by one goal, they kept at it and stuck another two goals through the posts to show their worth. What's better is that all goalscorers were Portugese. That means most of them play in England anyway. Come on!
The Portugese try time after time to show England how to play football, but their efforts are wasted as they're all fucking retarded. I don't think there is anyone in Portugal who couldn't beat the entire England team on their own. They're the top end of football.
If you're reading this and you're American and think "well we're not to good at soccer either, who cares?", play England. You'll suddenly realise that you've evolved three thousand years. Failing that, just watch them try and civilise themselves, basing their lives on a cunty Neanderthal called Rooney. It's funny. I'm sober a fucking nun, I've been studying all day. Who wants a beer? I wrote a post on soccer (football) quite a while ago. I watch it rabidly. The US is catching up with the rest of the world. I have always thought that Aussies must be on roids, especially the women swimmers who remind me of the East Germans. Elle Macpherson is soo hot though, and her sister is quite nice as well. I do not like the skinny ally mcbeal ozzies that keep making it on neighbors and moving to Calif. But the tall hot ones are fine by me.
I love Scotland! I will always hate the Cambells. My Grandad taught me as a wee lad to remember Glencoe and as a McDonald I will never forgive those traitors to the english who could not even fight fair. Bastards...

It was 2-1. They went through on penalties that never should have occurred after we'd won the game. It's a well known fact that if Sol Campbell scores, they have to invent a rule making it illegal.

the usa owns the olympics, but the soccer world cup is arguably bigger than the olympics and the usa dont really figure in that at all. though i have to say they did play reeeeeally well at last one, and i enjoyed watching them play more than almost anyone except korea, because they didnt do the same bullshitty tricks like diving in the hope of getting penalties - if they got tackled, even a rough one, they got up and kept chasing the ball. which is how the game should be played; not rolling in 'agony' cos you got tackled and lost the ball.
however the single greatest sportibng nation on earth is without question australia. i mean this utterly sincerely, and without a shred of blind patriotism. we have world champs (real world champs that play other nations that play the sport a lot) in many sports as well as placing in the top five in the olympics. given our population, its like california secceeding from the us and competing in the olympics.
its a shame england lost.

Fair enough, the goal should have been allowed. But bear in mind he also denied a Portugese goal in extra time which *clearly* went over the line. It was a bad decision but the better team won.
