Ok, England lost against Portugal last night in Euro 2004, a large football (soccer) tournament, open only to European clubs, as the name suggests.
Whoop de doo.
Just a game.
No need to get worked up.
For christ's sake. I've really lost all faith in humanity this time.

Football (soccer) is cool.
England is an awesome country. I visited and want to go back sometime.
I'm just ashamed that Canada hasn't got jack in terms of a soccer team, maybe in a few years though, it's growing in popularity.

we should do something like that in the states. have a tournament open to only US soccer clubs. then once they all arrive at the stadium, drop a bomb on it.

Oh yeah...did someone ever inform you Americans hate soccer? They rate beating seals as more entertaining. You're going to get slaughtered on negative comments. I was a the world cup in Korea in 2002 and had a blast (even though Koreans hate Americans). Bastards made it to the final 4 and got beat twice to end up 4th, too....which I secretly enjoyed. :)
