Part 1-QBs(http://www.ubersite.com/m/36913)
Part 2-RBs(http://www.ubersite.com/m/37037)

Depending on the scoring system, wide recievers are usually the third most productive position in fantasy football. There are always a handful who will go in the first few rounds, but the majority of them go after the third round. A good fantasy wide reciever will produce consistent numbers, and will also have one or two terrific games. Another thing to look at when choosing a wide reciever is touchdown production, as it will make up for most of their points. As you can see below, all of the top 5 fantasy preformers, and 7 of the top 10 have at least 10 touchdowns.

2003 stats

Randy Moss-111 receptions, 1632 yards, 17 TDs, 183 Fantasy Points(294)
Torry Holt-117 receptions, 1696 yards, 12 TDs, 156 Fantasy Points(273)
Chad Johnson-90 receptions, 1355 yards, 10 TDs, 127 Fantasy Points(217)
Marvin Harrison-94 receptions, 1272 yards, 10 TDs, 123 Fantasy Points(217)
Hines Ward-95 receptions, 1163 yards, 10 TDs, 118 Fantasy Points
Anquan Boldin-101 receptions, 1377 yards, 8 TDs, 116 Fantasy Points(217)
Santana Moss-74 receptions, 1105 yards, 10 TDs, 115 Fantasy Points(184)
Chris Chambers-64 receptions, 963 yards, 11 TDs, 114 Fantasy Points(178)
Derrick Mason-95 receptions 1303 yards, 8 TDs, 113 Fantasy Points(208)
Darrell Jackson-68 receptions, 1137 yards, 9 TDs, 110 Fantasy Points(178)
Terrell Owens-80 receptions, 1102 yards, 9 TDs, 109 Fantasy Points(189)
Joe Horn-78 receptions, 973 yards, 10 TDs, 108 Fantasy Points(186)
Keenan McCardell-84 receptions, 1174 yards, 8 TDs, 106 Fantasy Points(190)

Peter Warrick-79 receptions, 819 yards, 7 TDs, 82 Fantasy Points(161)
Amani Toomer-63 receptions, 1057 yards, 5 TDs, 82 Fantasy Points(145)
Justin McCareins-47 receptions, 813 yards, 7 TDs, 82 Fantasy Points(129)

Tai Streets-47 receptions, 595 yards, 7 TDs, 71 Fantasy Points(118)
Koren Robinson-65 receptions, 896 yards, 4 TDs, 68 Fantasy Points(133)
Plaxico Burress-60 receptions, 860 yards, 4 TDs, 67 Fantasy Points(127)

The Randy Factor
On average, Randy Moss seems to be going towards the end of the first round. Whoever picks him this early will probably be lacking a good #1 and #2 running back, which is almost fantasy taboo. If he slips to the second round, the opportunity is too great to pass up. He's been a 1000+ yard reciever in each of his 6 years, and a 10+ touchdown reciever in 5 of 6. His ability to seemingly make a touchdown catch at will is what seperates him from from all the other recievers. Leagues in which receptions are scored should note that Randy has been steadily catching more passes(last year he caught 111).

Offseason Shuffling
Terrell Owens to Philadelphia
Last season Terrell threw a tantrum in San Francisco. He hated the 49ers, Jeff Garcia, and the coaches. He also missed the last few games with a broken collarbone. Despite all that, he still managed to be the 11th best fantasy reciever. If the city of brotherly love can't make T.O. happy, nothing can. Owens also fits better into the Eagles' gameplan. The west coast offense in San Francisco limited Owens. The Eagles have a more wide open passing game, which will allow Owens to display his talents. He should return to being a top 5 reciever, as long as he keeps happy.

David Boston to Miami
Boston's best season came in 2001, when he racked up 1598 yards, and 8 touchdowns. In 2002, he was injured and missed half of the season. He was then traded to San Diego, where he had two great preformances, but for the most part was inconsistant. In Miami he has a good reciever along side of him in Chris Chambers. The quarterback situation looks grim in Miami, which won't help Boston's numbers. Defenses won't be able to concentrate on Boston, since the Dolphins are loaded with offensive skill players. The biggest thing Boston's arrival will do is free up Chambers, and Ricky WIlliams from the defensive pressure they recieved last year.

Justin McCareins to N.Y. Jets
McCareins was a touchdown machine in 2003, adding 6 points once every 7 catches. His numbers look to improve with Chad Pennington throwing the ball to him. The Mason-McNair connection in Tennesee took a lot of possible catches from McCareins. With the Jets he won't be the #1 reciever, but he should get more balls thrown his way. Tennesee liked to pound the ball in the red zone, while the Jets try to pass inside the 20. McCareins won't be a 1000 yard reciever, but I wouldn't be surprised if he pushed 10 touchdowns.

Tai Streets to Detroit
Tai was the #2 reciever in San Francisco. Detroit has him listed at #2, but that's only until rookie Roy Williams learns the system. Third recievers usually don't have much fantasy value, unless they produce touchdowns weekly(see Darnerien McCants). Tai will probably have his totals halved, and isn't worth a spot on your team, unless Rogers, or Williams gets hurt.

Dark Horse(s)
Donte' Stallworth and Ashley Lelie
These two are similar in so many ways. They were the top two wide recievers chosen in the 2002 draft. They both have talented veterans playing ahead of them(Joe Horn, and Rod Smith). They even have the same type of quarterback. Stallworth was raved about after his 8 touchdown rookie season, but last year he was replaced by Jerome Pathon. Lelie inherits the #2 from the retired Ed McCaffery. Stallworth has to fight for his starting job, but that will help fantasy owners choose whether to risk a pick on him.

You are a fool to think andre johnson wont be picked much higher than you have him. wide recievers of johnson's caliber have breakout years from the first to second. Learning how a defense will play you provides so much momentum when you get to play them again your second year. Look for him to light it up. so says the SWAMM

No arguments from me on this one. Are you also going to do defenses and such?
