This is a simple game I've been working on. I'm actually working on a much larger real time strategy game at the moment, but got bored of doing all the niggly stuff so decided to pinch some of the graphics and make a simple little action shooter to go along with it. The result: Wizard Duel.
Two wizards face each other over a cavern of death. Their weapons: energy projectiles that can be collected from the cavern's surface. Their goal: survive everything their opponent can throw their way, then take them out with a well placed Quad Power Projectile. I love the smell of burning flesh in the morning.
Info:
- Currently 2 player only: if you select 1 player the comp will stand there aimlessly waiting for you to shoot it
- Written in VB, so will only work in Windows
- Requires DirectX 7 or later to be installed on your machine
- Requires the Microsoft Visual Basic runtime files to be installed on your machine. 90% chance you already have them installed by another program. If the program won't run and you desperately want it to, typing "Microsoft Visual Basic Runtime Files" into the Search box on http://www.microsoft.com will find you the file you need to download/install.
Disclaimer:
I make absolutely no guarantees as to the reliability or functionality of this program. It is provided "As-is". If you download it, you accept responsibility for any and all damages/costs incurred by yourself.
Viruses:
This file has been scanned using Trend PC's Microcillin virus scanner with the latest pattern file.
(Apologies for double post, forgot to attach last time. Duh!)

Are you guys complete newbies?
If it says you're missing a file, follow these steps:
1. go to google.
2. type in the file name, a space, and download
3. download and put in the correct folder

Runtime error '339'
Component 'MCI32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
I dont know if I'm missing files, or something else.

It opens up to a yellow/brown full screen. Then nothing happens. I have visual studio .net and 6 with all the runtime files as well as directX 9.0b. So -2.

Sounds neat, won't be able to try it out for a bit.
