Not to get all reflective on my existence on uber after only four stupid posts, but thus far they've been openly political and opinionated. Whenever you unleash your opinions on the world, you expect an unknown percentage to outright disagree, hate you for what you think, and respond in all the myriad ways people can react negatively. That's the fun part of having an opinion. Without all of that anger, passion and the alternative options, there wouldn't be a point.
What is now scaring the crap out of me is that some random person is/people are (??) agreeing with me and asking for more. That is just fucking bizarre and sends bad chills up my spine. Literally, it freakin happened.
You could look at this as an unusual reaction to affirmation. I do. It is.
I don't appreciate and internalize many compliments. Compliments are dangerous things. I don't like them very much. This year for my birthday, I asked for one thing from all of my friends. When we were sitting around a campfire, I made everyone say one thing that they can't stand about me. Two of my coolest friends actually wrote the essay I asked for. There was some very valuable criticism, like my appalling taste in men. That one was actually unanimous.
I appreciate warm, respectful criticism. That's what I want most of all. Don't give me some bullshit about how awesome my writing is. It's just not.
This weird, schizophrenic dialogue popping up in my ratings is making me more uncomfortable than flat-out hatred. I want people to be nice to me as much as anyone else, but satirical, over-the-top praise is creepy and annoying. So yeah, please stop. Or at least create a real username so I can +2 everything you write for being cool.
Lastly and irrelevantly, I'm going to be incommunicado for a few weeks.

Thats okay, but I must disagree with your question. Hate is way scarier. I think the reason most people get beat up or killed is because of hate, whereas you just got freaked out.
