Yes, I am rather sure you have all seen these posts before, and many of you are sitting in your chairs, looking at this screen, already plotting what evil remarks you plan to post about this.

I am not talking about the users who will put something constructive, but I am talking about the ones of you who will put something like "shut up you cumming cockwhore".At this moment I am expecting to see that quoted on the reviews, but that is aside from the point.

What i mean is, I have now actually done an experiment. I put that phony little vending machine story up as a separate post and came back awile later to investigate and see how many people would simply say something completely biased in order to pinpoint what viewers of this website actually say in a review to an average post.

I congratulate a few who said something actually constructive such as about my paragraph spacing, but the overall wording was even beyond what I expected.Yes, I was expecting the occasional "fuck you" or anything along those lines, but what I recieved was a lot of completely incoherant rambling and that.

I admit it (the story) was pathetic.I tried to make it that way.Otherwise the experiment would have been worthless.The reviews though were still more exaggerated than what seemed necessary.Extremism is alright by my opinion when it is used in order to convey a message that has been grossly overlooked. In a way by that definition extremism may be being applied by this post.

To summarize this post, my belief is that this site, which is a very good one under most aspects, is full of many people who could use a bit of enlightening on their criticism.Though I expect no one to change their viewpoints by reading this post, I still hope that a few people will agree that this is the truth.

I am stating nothing as fact so please in viewing this do not believe otherwise.Aside from that, I am not stereotyping everyone as being like this.Yes, i know some things are in good humor and all that but it has gotten a bit farfetched.
Another note, by this post I am not trying to take away anyones rights or anything of the sort away from them.This post was even made by my rights to say what i wish.The idea of this post, if it has not been made clear, is to simply persuade.
To all of the users who post your hilarious antics, no matter how crude they may be, and to whoever compiles those lists and rambles, keep doing what you are doing, and do not take anything that is said in an idiotic manner seriously, because your stories are golden, and you should persue your intrests in creating them.

Finally, I am not expecting a high rating on this by any means, so please feel free to put what is honestly felt by you.

This post is a little better than your others. We don't flame newbies unless they post shit that sucks. Your posts suck. I'm not saying it to be mean. If I was, this comment would come with a -2. I think this post shows that you have at least a little potential to stop sucking ass, because it is grammatically better than your other posts, and you put some thought into what you were saying. Try to take that formula and use it to make something entertaining, for instance, a funny story. This isn't a blog. It's not even a message board, really. It's a place where people post stuff for the entertainment of others. You have to think of yourself as an entertainer. We've got people on this site who are professional comedians. We've got aspiring writers. We've got book editors. We've got artists of both graphic and fine arts. We've got people who are just naturally talented. We've got computer programmers. We've got a lot of smart motherfuckers on this site. Basically, I'm saying that we have people who know how to entertain. And when they see bullshit, they call it. That's just the way it is. So if you post something that is poorly done and unentertaining, you are going to get flamed.

Also,unfortunately, because you are younger than a lot of people here, what is new to you, is old hat to the rest of us. Again, I'm not saying that to be mean to you. But it is annoying to click on stuff like your first post, because it is a poorly written piece of shit. Your other posts are then complaints of how we treated you. This is Uber. It isn't Dear Playgirl or cosmo, so if you want advice on sex, you should at least have something interesting and entertaining to say before you ask for it. If you want to tell a story about your sex life, remember that most people on this site know the ins and outs (bad pun) of sex. Your sex life is nothing new or interesting to us, so try to make your story funny, different, or interesting.

Believe it or not, we don't flame all newbies. Only the ones that post shit. It is actually better here than it used to be. There is hardly a trial by fire anymore, only for the ones that really, really suck. If you ask me that's not a good thing, but hey, what do I know. I've only been around about five months. Flaming works two ways. One, it can encourage those who suck to do better, and two, it can encourage the ones who continue to suck to just leave. Of course this might backfire, because some of the ones who continue sucking stick around to be annoying. But eventually they get bored with it, and they either leave, or decide to stop posting shit. So we flame to get rid of the shitheads. It's the only weapon we have against them. I don't think you want to be one of the shitheads, so just try to do better, and you will probably improve.

+1 because you tried, but don't expect generosity anymore. I think enough people answered your questions for you to know what not to do from now on.

Ok. Because the above comment was for a completely different post, so all that crap about sex doesn't apply. But the parts about quality of posts and flaming do apply.

Also,your experiment has been done before. Quite frankly, you're not being clever. People come here to be entertained, not teach people how to write.

That piece was utterly without merit, and deserved nothing more than it got. It was so bad as to be either shenanigans, or a post demonstrating a total lack of ability or a total lack of respect for the audience: whichever it was, no sort of constructive criticism could possibly help, not that Uber is intended to be primarily a 'writing peer support forum' in any case.

You are cool. I always put something like, you jackass, or pinhead on the posts that are basically just to insult someone or pointless, but usually when it's a story or something or actually trying I give from 0 to 2, because I give people credit for trying. I think you are right though, good post.

I think you've wasted your own time with this experiment. Yes, of course some of the criticism is shitty - we all know this. But until this site turns into a 'members only elite' (which, in my opinion, is one of the worst things that could happen), it always will be. Embrace it - it's part of the Uber experience.

The fact remains that if you post something decent you will, by and large, recieve decent reviews. So if you don't want to face a barage of -2's and 'inspirational' cries of "you cockbiting fucktard", put some fucking effort in and produce something you're proud of. Yes, it's annoying when you pour your heart and soul into something and some goon flames it just for shits and giggles but the overwhelming trend is that good posts get good reviews - use that as your motivation.

If you want more detailed and constructive criticism - lead by example. You get what you give.
