Another classic NES game that cannot be forgotten was World Class Track Meet.

OVERVIEW: Use the patented NES Powerpad to run and jump in various track competitions.

I used to play this game like no other. In fact, I think I played it more than Duck Hunt. Even further, when I had an SNES (Super Nintendo), I STILL played that game. Why? Because it's a classic.

My favorite part of the game had to be the Triple Jump. I know all of you cheated on that one. Oh yea, don't act like you didn't jump off the pad and let your man set a world record of 50 meters. And how many of you actually jumped over the hurdles? I dunno about you, but I just ran 'em over. No time to jump, I still beat that Cheetah bastard. I kicked his ass.

But you gotta think. What kind of person like Turtle and Bear would actually make it to an Olympic Track Meet? Rabbit had a shot, but he wasn't all that tough.

The cool thing about this game was that up to 8 people could play against each other. This made it a sort of party game. I remember the days when I would have a birthday party, and a total of 5 people would show, and we would all play Track Meet. Me, my two brothers, and my five friends. It was glorious.

Who needed the graphics? I was digging the torch in the background, that was about it. And the music wasn't exactly the best, but then again, you didn't want 8-bit tunes breaking your concentration on the 100 yard dash.

All in all, it was a good time.

GAMEPLAY: 10/10
MUSIC: 8/10
GRAPHICS: 9/10

OVERALL: 9/10

Play it for old-time's sake.

Anyone who -2's a retro videogame item deserves to be dragged into the street, tied to a lamp post, and beaten with a tire iron.

The game isn't my favorite, however. But a good review.

Looks like you'll be #25 by the end of the day, or maybe tomorrow morning.

Why don't run in a real track meet you lazy piece of rotting lima bean! You're probably so fat from playing videogames that my dead hamster could beat you in any athletic event. I hope you get run over while going to the store for more twinkies!!!! Hahaha....

Sitting down and running was so much easier than standing.

hmm, did you ever think that the reason only 5 people showed up was because you played Nintendo instead of Spin the Bottle?

I hope not. I still love my nintendo.

Woops. "100 Meter dash". Gotta know my shit.

Burns: Oh, quit cogitating, Steinmetz, and use an open-faced club! A
sand wedge!

Homer: Mmm ... open-faced club sandwich.
