For the unenlightened, Cartoon Network has the best insomniac line up on Sunday nights. Futureama and Family Guy are great, but the real genius is the original programing that comes on at about 11PM.
Harvey Birdman Attourney at Law is by far my favorite. Its only fifteen minutes long, but there aren't any interruptions. Birdman is a lawyer that takes up defense cases for other Hanna Barbara personalities that get caught in a pickle. The last episode was a discrimination case concerning the wrongful termination of Inch High P.I.
In the arbitration case, the judge Mentok The Mind Taker makes a joke about the little detective being and Inch High Dick. Classic.
Harvey also defends Shaggy and Scoobie in a drug charges, and Fred Flinstone in a mob case. In one hilarious episode, Harvey finds himself in an elicit affair with Boo Boo Bear.
Another great show is Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The premise: A box of fries, a milk shake, and a ball of hamburger meat are detectives. Nuff said.
If you don't like ATHF, you must see the two episodes with the Mooninites. Inignod and Err come down to Earth Atari style in their 2D ship. Meatwad wants a ten speed bike, and Inignod states, "Stealing a ten speed is easy. Filling it with illegal substances and sending it across the border is the hard part." And Err says," Those dogs can smell anything, thats why you have to kick them in the throat!"
In short, they do not get the ten speed, but instead get the Foreigner Belt. It gives them all the super powers of 70's rock group Foreigner, which the use to steal porn. Hilarity ensues and tress get burned.
Sometimes I curse my insomnia, but on Sunday nights, I love it. Hooray for Cartoon Network!
P.S. Heche wants married sex. -Sealab 2024

For those of you who are curious, Home Movies is on at 1:30 on Sundays. Ah... summer.
The best episode was on last Sunday, the cheating one, when Coach McGirk has to take driving school. HILARIOUS.

The Mooninites rule, but I like the Plutonians.
The best episode ever though, is when all the random characters from the shows meet togther with the Moonities in a plan to destryoy the Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I'v eonly seen it once, it's from the newer season.
Home Movies is hilarious too, I've never watched Harvey Bidman or Sealab though.

I'll give you a +1 because I agree with you.
By the way: New episodes of Family Guy have been ordered, and are due to air next year.

Best episode of Harvey was when he filed an injury suit for Cammachie Chief, who burned himself with a hot cup of coffee and couldn't "grow large" anymore. just the parts with judge Mightor waving his club around suggestively were worth it!

Agreed. Ha ha. "I was with wonder women the whole night. I was the bath water."

Adult Swim is my night-life at college while I'm doing my homework.
I'm partial to Futurama, Family Guy, and Home Movies myself, but they
don't really show those anymore.

Back in the day I used to watch canada'a cartoon network teletoon and the best shows would come on at 2am -3am. Some european stuff. Blake and Mortimer and Nighthood (Arsène Lupin, some sort of french batman), and good ol' Duckman. I kept telling myself to tape it because It wouldn't last forever, I got too lazy. So my advice to you is tape these shows, Because sometimes classics are hard to come by. I'm still searching for Nighthood.

Haha, word man!
Back when The Simpsons and Arrested Dev elopment were still running new eps, sunday was THE Sunday lineup. I could watch a mediocre new Simpsons, a hilarious new Arrested Development, tune to [as] at 11 to watch some Home Movies (best [as] show) some ATHF, some Sealab, and of course some Harvey Birdman.
And now I know that, if I wanted to, I then could've watched Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO-West!
