I have noticed something that is quite disturbing in my short time here at Ubersite. It is called "shenanigans" by many, and it happens when a post (or series of posts) is so incredibly stupid that one cannot but conclude that an already established user is having some fun being a retard. They are often so perfectly written to piss the active Ubersite user off that this is an obvious assumption.
Take the most recent "hit" Little Miss. Her posts have been some of the worst I have ever read, so bad that someone must be putting some effort into making them so egregious. It takes some brains to be that stupid (now there's a paradox for you). (I refer to it as a her only because of the feminine nature of the username; I would bet a lot of money that she is actually a guy.) Now, the disturbing part is the fact that all of "her" posts have gotten enormous amounts of hits. I believe the first one is almost to 2500, and the third one is (at the moment) still on the Most Heated. Now, who is to blame for such a horrid post getting so much attention?
It is clearly YOU, the Ubersite user who enjoys raking such morons over the coals with your "witty" insults and f-off and die responses. If you weren't so addicted to handing out -2's the stupidity might just stop. I have read many posts that complain about the "poor writing quality" of many of the uberposts as of late. I agree, but here's the thing: if you don't want people writing crappy posts, don't give them the attention they don't deserve. All shenanigans are merely attention whores in disguise, their posts written just to see what people will say in response. This is my call to the ubersite users who want the stupidity to stop: IGNORE THE IDIOTS. Spend your time writing thoughtful responses to real posts. Ignore the idiots and they will stop. I can't count the many times I have seen a good post get just 200 or so hits and maybe 10 responses while some gutter trash crashes the Most Heated. There is a lot of good stuff out there; if you want Ubersite to be a forum for intelligent writing then give your attention where it belongs.

Not funny, informative, or slightly entertaining. This is almost ironic. An especially nice touch was in the responses where you copied and pasted someone elses stats as an insult. Have you checked yours out lately?

The thing is, if I click something, and it's really bad, they already have my hit, and my time, and quite frankly, since I'm not getting that few minutes of my life back, I want to lash out and question their bathing habits and geneology. Maybe that's just me because I'm petty and small.
