Fifteen hundred dollars is how much I am worth to the school per year. And now I am gone. I just got my GED and I took my SATs last December, I am out. And I'm 15. I spent the last 10 years of my life being bored and harassed. And now, I am free.
Anyone who is excited for highschool really has no idea of what's to come. While its no longer a popularity contest, there is still the massive ammounts of retarded humans infiltrateing the hallways. And they have no shame. Many of my ex-peers that I loveingly put in the catagory of hick assholes, would spend their lunch hours chewing away at tobacco in a can, and then spitting it into the neerest drinking receptical. Thus makeing them disturbingly foul. It would always seem to be ther fountains by the boys locker rooms were the ones to be victimized the most frequently; they emited brown water. And people would drink from them. Thankfully (or perhaps unbelievably), no one has died from giardia, yet.
Another common highschool dwelling creature would be the blond-ambercrombie-classic-moron type (hereafter known as the Shannon). There is always at least one in every class and they seem to be growing in numbers. It always seemed to irk them if those with an IQ that is greater than that of a opossum, used 'large' words. Large words like "loath" and "obnoxious". The definitions just beyond their grasp. Couple your average Shannon with the male equilvilent and you were just asking for trouble. They were not only every where, but on every thing. No locker was safe from the Randy mouths of these sex-crazed youths. And the STDs were passed around more than a freshman at prom.
While the above stated are not necissarily the only types of poeple, they are definately the most common. They are all each worth $1500. $1500 and all they want to do is pollute the drinking fountains and dry humping on the lockers. This is the future of America.

Yeah, because high school dropout with a GED looks so much more impressive to a possible employer. You go on with your bad self, take control of your destiny. Way to be. Guess what? there are assholes everywhere, not just in high school. Get used to it. Part of the experience in school is growing yourself socially. Saying "Fuck this, I'm dropping out" will make you look a retard to anyone important that you will deal with in your future. There is no GED equivalent to a college degree. You can't just quit a decent job because you don't like the idiots that work there with you. Well, you can, but I'm sure that your parents/spouse will not like having to pay your way forever.
You are quite the rebel now, but I'm sure you'll get intimately accustomed to the phrase "Would you like to Super-Size that?" down the road.

This was the most pathetic how bad is my life story. Christ, pretty much 99% of the people reading this post dealt with the same thing but probably alot worse since we didn't grow up in a hick town where chewing tobacco is your worst problem. Try going to school where people carry guns, deal drugs in the hall. The least of your worries is a preppie named Shannon. Christ, grow up. You should have been focusing on your future and not so worried about what anyone else is doing. If I gave a shit about every person drying humping in the halls (I recall several occasions catching people fucking in the bathroom, you little baby) I would have never graduated from college with a degree and a certificate. I hope your next place of employment doesn't have anyone that bothers you or you'll be out on unemployment bitching to everyone who wonders by your double-wide.

So you took the easy way out. Any fool can pick up a GED. My brother was one such fool.
It's not the book knowledge that impresses the potential employer, so much as the perseverance associated with completing programs at educational institutions. This is why I am going to college after 5+ years of industry experience and with several certifications: without the piece of paper that says you went through the same harrowing bullshit (classes, professors, reports, deadlines) that the interviewer did, all the book knowledge in the world doesn't mean jack shit.

Highschool is all about learning how to deal with pricks and assholes, that;s when they tend to be at their worst. once you've dealt with that, nothing short of someone castrating you with a chipper-shredder really seems that tough. -2 cause you're a whiner and a quitter.

If you bothered to look at things in a positive aspect your whole view on people and life would change.
I used to do the same thing you did just looking at how shitty life was, and doing that was easy.
Most often it is how you view something that makes it bad, not the actual thing itself.

Meh. Its those negative aspects that I have become all too familiar with. And its those steriotypes that I have created after observing these people for quite some time. They aren't uneducated. And while they might not be entierly accurate, I never said they were. They are my obsevations of a group of people in a crowded highschool.

Being as public schools have to cater to the lowest common denominator of students, any person with any sort of intelligence whatsoever can get his/her GED by 14 or 15.
High school can be a good experience, but it certainly won't be to people like yourself who view only the negative aspects of it. And you shouldn't stereotype people so easily, they may not be who you think they are.
