I think about it quite often. What it would be like to be the last one. The final survivor. The Omega man.
There are movies about it. There are stories about it. I have dreams about it.
I couldn't go house by house even though the thought is delicious to me. I imagine myself roaming neighborhoods, stopping at each house to exact my revenge on a society gone mad. By one of it';s denizens gone mad.
Is there Irony there? I guess there would be but it is lost on me.
Houses cold with darkness and death. Blood running thick and fast through storm drains and sewers. Enough blood flow to power a small city if need be.
Me in the center, standing alone. An example of modern ingenuity and persistence. Slaying all who live, passion for the hunt coursing through my veins like electric current gone mad. A rush like no other.
Never stopping. Never tiring. A relentless pursuit of perfection by extinction. There is only one me, there are thousands of you and you will not survive my truth, my justice, my joy.
In the end, I will stand tall in front of the mirror, gazing at myself, gazing at what I have done. I will be proud. I will be alone. I will be wonderful.
Before the end, I will talk to myself. I will ask myself if it was all worth it. I will reflect on the beauty of genocide, patricide, matricide, suicide.
In red lipstick I will write one question on this mirror. One question for the next evolution to find. To ponder. To wonder about. My question will answer all their questions about how our evolution went horribly wrong at the hands of a wonderful and powerful human being. I am eternal in thought and mind. My essence will never die, it will just carry over to others from other worlds such as me. Many others all through the universe who have the same longing for the cleansing bloodlust I have known.

I love this series. I can't get the image of him and his bald head in someones intestines. I SERIOUSLY cannot get that out of my head. It just sneaks up on me every once in a while and says Boo! ugh.

I feel your pain, big guy.
Most of the DoaM series gets a small amount of hits and reviews. If I had to guess, the average hits on these are less than 200 and the average number of reviews probably hovers around 13 or so, maybe less. The people who are following this really seem to like it though. I think that's kind of cool.

I've never really explained this series because I guess I can't. I've just always wanted to write from the perspective of a mad individual. There are 11 of these and I have stopped linking to them with each post. I guess if anybody wants to read them they will just have to click on my MVA link and go one by one.
I think everybody has a dark side. I think some of us are darker than others. I guess the point is that you don't have to actually do bad things to think like someone who does. I've always been fascinated by horror and the like. This genre is sort of an outlet for my darker creative juices. I guess it all started with my halloween posts last year and kind of reignited with Ubermadness "So I'm a little strange".
I don't know. This stuff just comes to me and I write it. Tom helped this time around though. He supplied the title in his other post.
