Now, this isn't going to be a "fuck Christians" or a "fuck you" post. I'm asking you to either stop forcing your shit on everyone who you don't believe to be 'saved', start posting something of some quality, or, more simply, get the fuck out.
Obviously no one here believes the shit you spew and no one cares either. Do you actually believe that you are going to 'convert the heathans (I don't give a fuck how it's spelled, so eat dick)? Or, as I tend to believe, are you trying to stir shit because you are a colossal attention-whore?
Jesus was a loving and kind person. There are no stories in the bible (that trite and out-dated book that millions place their faith on) that tell how Jesus, in his unquenchable fury, slew all the fags with fire and brimstone from the heavens. Or how, in his rage, he showed no remorse as he killed all the 'non-believers' and laughed as he threw them into the firey pit of hell. In fact, as I remember, he never shows any form of hatred or intolerance toward any people. Yet, you zealots use him as a 'figure-head' of sorts for all your intolerant outbursts against anyone you believe is not worthy of entrance to your heaven. I'll let you think about that one.
Now, as for the bible. Let's get this one out of the way, it was wirtten by men. I'll repeat that; by men. So, it is not actually the word of God, but by men who interperated it as they wished, adding and erasing parts as they saw fit. The only reason homosexuals are seen as a 'plague' is because of a simple issue of poulation. If men/women are having sex with others of the same sex, they are not increasing the population, which was dismal at the time the bible was written. It's the same reason why the book tells men not to eat pork. Back in the day, people had no way of preserving pork and it tended to go bad quickly, giving people all sorts of nasty diseases.

You have some great points, but...
What I think people are failing to notice is that there are just as many anti-Christian posts as there are preachy, self-righteous pro-Christian posts. Giving reasons why people should NOT be religious is just as annoying as arguing that people should. Tedious and boring and pointless. Preaching is preaching, regardless of what one preaches. RELIGIOUS/ANTI RELIGIOUS PREACHING IN ANY FORM IS TROLLING, IN MY OPINION. WHAT DO YOU GAIN?
Do you think that self-righteousness and bigotry are reserved for the Judeo-Christian multitude? No. Are you going to tell me that the only people on a high horse in this world are religious people? That would be false logic. Even an Atheist can be holier-than-thou.
The personality of an individual determines his/her need to control other people. Religion, or Anti-religion is only a tool the person picks up to start bashing their ideas into other people's heads.
What lies at the root of PREACHING at people is the strange and egotistical human need to cause everyone else to conform. The same need that drives Bin Laden is the same one that caused this old Pentacostal woman with filthy beehive hair to approach me last Halloween in the store and tell me I was going to hell for wearing my vampire costume. It's a situation of degrees. Do I kill for my beliefs, or do I just annoy people for them?

Yes filthy; you are right. I won't be able to change JCs position. I know that and I don't want to change him in anyway; as long as he hurts nobody I don't mind about what he does. But I fear that people like him manage to convince others not to use condoms. There are some other examples, but this one strikes me most. It's his kind that refuses to take responsibility and do something really good. Like going to africa, not trying to convert everyone but doing something useful. Educating people about AIDS for instance. Telling them the truth! People won't stop fucking around because you tell them its a sin. You can't blame us for basic human drives. And that is exactly what JC does. He dares to blame me for masturbating. He tells gay people they will end up in hell. That does not serve mankind very well does it? And that is why I have big problems with that kind of bigotry. This selfishness. They are convinced of doing good and in fact miss their goal entirely. That's why I keep on contradicting him.

Very well put indeed. Let's hope this gets lots and lots of comments so it'd stay up front. Of course, the odds of someone who this applies to actually taking this advice is pretty slim, but it's worth a shot all the same.
Oh, and for that person who said the world would be better without religion: I'd have to disagree. There are many,many people who, when they go through hard times in their life, turn to religion as what I suppose could be called a beacon of hope, and is usually the only thing they have left in the way of encouragement.I will definetely agree that religion has also caused many problems in the world, but some people really need it.
