Its not everyday that something affects you in such a way that you just stop. Stop thinking, stop feeling, stop breathing.

Stop thinking while the nature of the moment racks your mind; stop feeling as the sheer rapture violates your heart and stop breathing, as your senses are temporarily short-circuited.

You never fully recover from it. But whatever triggered it is locked in the deepest pit of your being, and only ever tapped into once or maybe twice again in a lifetime... if you try.

This paralysis of emotion, this...thing, is so powerful that it changes everything. It makes you different. It affects you somehow.

And anything might cause it.

It's the centre of any strong emotional response, weather you choose to show it or not. It will dictate from now on how you will respond, and it will be the thing you measure all emotional responses against. It's almost like a virus that permanently buries itself into your soul. And you will never forget what it felt like.

The disappointment of a broken promise is it.

The realisation that it won't get any better, is it.

The greatest loss... the greatest gain is it.

The ultimate pleasure, the ultimate pain, the ultimate ecstasy.

You know what it is. You've felt it more than anyone. You showed it to me.

See I really liked how you described the emotions that surge through you when something incredible/horrible happens, but I was let down to not find out what made you feel this. What event triggered the sensory overload that dominated your phyche turning into chaos? http://www.ubersite.com/m/38115 that was what did it to me, and no you don't get over it. You may be able do deal with it over time but those extreme emotions that fly through you never leave.

let me just make a couple of things clear;

1) it's not supposed to make sense
2) it's whatever you want it to be.
3) I wrote it when... i couldn't be fucked explaining how i feel.

pure shit or not, your only supposed to get it if you can't put words to why something feels the way it does... but whatever. I didn't expect people to get it. Thanx anyway.

The style is a little hackneyed, but it's still a good piece.

I'll give you a +2 to go with the popular response, but I didn't like this. I thought this was pure shit. well, maybe not pure shit, but at least mostly shit. <50% shit. You didn't realy say anything "sometimes things change you, and when your changed your never the same. you changed me." what kind of happy horseshit is that? Eat a dick.

My goodness. Literacy on this site? I do not believe my eyes. Nice work. A little abstract for my taste, but still nice.

Homer: Yeah. If you want one, you'll have to pay for it out of your
