All righty. This is my first official installment (but second version) of the Ubersite Scrapbook.
All the ones that I had in my last post are in here, but there about about double what there were.
I am thinking of doing a monthly or quarterly or something like that.
Still haven't organized this yet. Bear with me as I choose the best way to do so. It's just a huge list right now.
And again, this is not a popularity contest. I've chosen not to include names for a reason. I just clicked, read, and added if I liked it. This is totally something compiled by me and reflects my interests at the time. I've said this before, but if I missed you or something you wrote that you think should be in here, by all means, let me know. Please don't -2 me just because you're not on here.

Yay, I made it twice.
As for the origins of Attn: Ghey Menz, you'll have to try to ask for a straight answer from some of the much older Uberers. Nobody ever gives one, though, so beware.
The emu was a post sometime in February and March. Every once in a while it's linked on an emu post, so go check there. The reason it became a "fad" was because it was reused in an UberMadness post and one of the annoying members of Ubersite saw it on there and took over.
Flute boy is a creation of either KoolMang or Habeeb, you'll have to ask them for the original post.

I am looking for Ubersite fad origins currently.
The first posts for "fluteboy", the emu, "ATTN GHEY MENZ!!" and any other signifigant inside jokes there are here at Uber. Or a sad, traumatic chapter of Ubersite, such as McBain.
Any help tracking these origins down or determining other fads would be greatly appreciated.

I think for the next one you should still leave off the authors, but categorize them by genre (humor, fiction, memoir, tragedy... I don't know pick your own categories. I think it would be cool to get to say "Hmm... I'm in the mood for a good love story... I know! I'll look on Jinky's post!"

Wow, "Green" is in there.
I'm actually surprised.
It was fun doing Ubermadness. I think I have 3 or 4 posts of mine that I like better than "Green" though. I liked Hiemdallsman's version of "Green". It was very creative and probably why it's mentioned in this post in the first place.

I am leaning toward b.) because I am working on categorizing them right now. But I don't know if categorizing them is a good thing or not. And there's also the whole it-being-totally-subjective bit. But since you all know that this list is completely subjective, and prone to biases both conscious and unconscious, I don't know if that will matter too incredibly much.
Thanks for everyone's support. It is very much appreciated. But more than just support (which I really do appreciate, in case I didn't say it already), I want to know if this is actually serving it's purpose of providing you with links that you may not have known existed, or had forgotten but really liked, or ones that you skipped over for one reason or another, but are glad you hit upon now. Or just keeping you entertained at work, and putting remedies for boredom even closer to you with even less thought.

You are correct. I have been here a while. And one of the things that makes this place great is the uncurtailed free-market enterprise of posting here. Everything and anything can be "put up for market", and anyone can determine it's value and whether or not it is worth posting.
Ubersite: 99.99999999% unmoderated and 100% unfiltered. And I wouldn't change it for anything.
I suppose I meant you've no reason to act thusly based on sound logic. And I expect more of you.

reallybored, if you really want something on here, post a link. Ubersite is a huge place. I don't go out of my way to select certain individuals. Those links that weren't suggested I've wandered through and chosen what I like.
I didn't see any link suggestions from you in my last post. Just your original comment and Tom quoting you. I don't feel you've any room to complain. As for me having any room to complain, cmon buddy youve been here awhile. Anyone can complain about anything at anytime. Wether they are right or wrong, or totally fucking retarded, they can rate as they see fit. Without any rhyme or reason.

reallybored, if you really want something on here, post a link. Ubersite is a huge place. I don't go out of my way to select certain individuals. Those links that weren't suggested I've wandered through and chosen what I like.
