This is a very deep song. Well, most of the lyrics aren't that deep, yet this song can be subject to many different interpretations
"I don't know what u heard about me
But a bitch can't get a dollar out of me "
Here, mr. Cent, with great sincerity, tries to tell us that that he doesn't know what you've heard about him. What seems to be very important to him, htough is that bitches can't get a dollar out of him. This shows an irregular thought pattern. What has the fact that he doesn't know what we've heard about him got to with bitches and dollars? Only mr. Cent knows...
"No Cadillac, no perms u can't see
That I'm a motherfucking P.I.M.P"
Several possible interpretations to this one.
1) Because of a grammar equal to that of an elementary school kid this message is jumbled. It might mean that if he hadn't got a cadillac and no perms, you wouldn't see that he's a P.I.M.P.
2) You need a cadillac and perms to be a P.I.M.P.
(All rhymes unintended on my behalf.)
To this song, a question needs to be raised: What is a P.I.M.P.? If it was spelled P-I-M-P, it'd be pimp, but I think mr. Cent used the periods conciously. Oh yes, he's using abbreviations! Now, what could P.I.M.P. mean?
Phony Industry Maggot Pansy
Panty-hose In Motion Picture
Pecker Is My Pay
Purse Is My Prey
These are only a few possible interpretations... This part of the song remains a mystery.
"Now shorty she in da club, she's dancing for dollars
She got a thing for that Gucci, that Fendi, that Prada
That BCBG, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana"
The vertically impaired is in the club, and she's getting payed for dancing.SOunds like a good deal, hook me up! When mr. Cent mentions Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, it's just to show off, or impress his illiterate friends.
S"he's feeding fools fantasies they pay her cuz they want her
I spit a little G man and my game got her"
When mr. Cent spits, gangsters come out of his mouth. That doesn't sound comfortable.
"A hour later had her ass up in the Ramada
Them trick niggas in they ear saying they think about her
I got the bitch by the bar trying to get a drink up out her
She like my style, she like my smile, she like the way I talk
She from the country, then she like me cuz I'm from New York2
We're talking about one fiiiine vertically impaired person. Or just a cheap slut. And mr. Cent is from NY. It makes him attractive.
"I aint that nigga trying to holla cuz I want some head
I'm that nigga trying to holla cuz I want some bread"
Mr. Cent is going for celibacy and wants bread. Bread to the people perhaps? Is he trying to get a communist message through? Or maybe he just wants a woman who can bake.
"I could care less how she perform while she in the bed"
Celibacy again.
"Bitches that try catch a date and come and play the kid
Look baby this is simple u cant see, u fucking me u fucking with a P.I.M.P"
Here, the mystery of the abbreviations comes forth once more... After these lyrics, lots of nonsense is rapped, to conceal the message further. Then, something happens:
"Dat other nigga u be with aint about shit
I'm your friend, your father, your confidant, BITCH "
He's her father! That's why he doesn't want the other "niggas" to get close to her! This is all about the hard love of a father!
"Yea, In Hollywood they say there's no business like show business
In the hood they say there's no business like ho business"
Sell hoes, get paid.
