So it's five in the morning and I was sitting at my computer in my boxers wondering why the fuck the birds were chirping and keeping me up. Fuckin' birds, and sunlight. I hadn't used this computer in awhile so I was perusing the hard drive, hoping to find some old mp3s I used to enjoy, some pictures, or maybe something I'd written. Instead of finding personal memorabilia, I found Home Boy Rome. I was actually in physical shock that I had this mound of solid gold plated gold sitting inside my computer and hadn't viewed it before.

Before I get too enthusiastic about my find, I should give you guys the history of Roman "Home Boy Rome" Rapaport. A few years ago, I was deep into my Counter-Strike addiction. I would hop around from clan to clan, playing in leagues and meeting numerous online personalities. One day I got an offer to join the "Vancouver Resistance" clan, led by none other than Roman Rapaport. I played with him for awhile, but he was too demanding and into CS, and I eventually quit. I did have him on my MSN list, though I rarely, if ever, talked to him. By looking at his msn names I began to discern that this online gaming aficianado was beginning a sweeping personality change. His CS handle: D3adlYX, laughable even as an alias, started to becaome his derisory lifestyle. One day, I felt the urge to see how my old CS buddy was doing and double clicked the msn name: (mo)(mo)* Home Boy Rome (mo)(mo) Li'L Em!(mo)(mo)*(mo) Makes the emoticon picture of coins, implying money.
We chatted inanely for a while, but then he asked if I would look over some of his "rhymez." I suppose I accepted them and then forgot about them.
