I just heard a story about one of the top dogs here at Corporation X. He was part of a group invited to an event at a luxury hotel that included seminars, nice BBQs, and a special treat, either a guided bike tour, or a visit to a major aquarium. What does Bossman do? Why, he takes his own bike, and starts out on his own tour. A hotel employee saw him and asked where he was going. "Hell, I'm gonna ride the Path Perilous," he said. She told him to stick to the path set-up by the hotel, which was safer, and actually had better views. But Bossman, feeling he had more balls than Lance Armstrong, set off on the Path Perilous, with a partner in tow. Of course, we all know where this is leading, huh? That's right, kids, Medivac! The dumb stupid bastard was racing down a hill, hit something, slammed into the handlebars, split his helmet, smashed up his face and teeth, got a concussion, and had to be airlifted out of there like a sack of grain. I guess that old line about pride and falls and cometh-ing is true after all.
