Spiral, My guess would be because highschool suddenly makes girls feel grown up. They think they are nearly adults now, and should therefore be able to handle all the responsibilities that come with that, including those associated with sex. It is possible that teenage rebellian has something to do with it, they wanna do things they are "not supposed" to do, and again, sex is a BIG part of what they are not supposed to do. And lastly, peer pressure to start having sex increases exponentially when a girl gets into highschool. Highschool boys are horndogs, and we know it, and a lot of times it seems like, either he's going to have sex with you, or he'll find someone else to have sex with, so if you want to keep him, you'd better put out. That is a fear that is far less prevalent in middle school where relationships that last long than a month or two are rare.
Shirk, maybe your propane tank is low. Either that, or it sounds like there is something wrong with the pressure. Try buying a new tank and see what happens.
