What the hell is going on in this country?
I need to vent, so here goes...
!I am sick of all the crap.!
B.E.T., welfare, gay pride parades, the Atkins diet...when will it end?
I believe in one thing...
LIFE IS UNFAIR - DEAL WITH IT!!!
Here are some questions with that in mind:
1. Do you think radical Islam will ever stop its war on the West?
2. Democrats want to steal from the rich and give to the poor - is this right?
3. When will women/minorities/homosexuals/etc stop blaming "the man"?
4. If it's all in the genes, isn't dieting a waste of time?
5. Isn't it hypocritical to be pro-abortion and anti-death penalty/ anti-gun?
6. Why are we not kicking illegals out of this country?
7. Why are we so un-educated for an industrial nation? (Thank God for Spell-check)
8. Isn't it wrong to be taking God out of the school and putting condom machines in?
9. What is with environmental and animal activists? They are just plain, fucking wacko?
10. When confronted with facts, why do liberals resort to name calling?
I am hoping for some intelligent responses and look forward to a stimulating debate.

1.Sure, they've not been at war with us forever.
2. If by steal you mean tax, and by give you mean tax less then I would say yes, but it depends on the specific figures.
3. When you hit them, try it works great.
4. Nope, theres a difference between being fat due to your genes and being obese due to your genes and your diet.

6. Because they're good for your economy and it needs all the help it can get.

Hey there crazy one, u raise some good points here. Yet you are just addding to the existing problem by not creating any solutions. Maybe I can help, take this for what its worth.
1. No the extremists may never stop. We have to continue our efforts to bring EDUCATION and therefore democracy to the massess in the Mid East. As the people see the effects of freedom on thier daily lives, backed by unwavering support from us, hopefully they will find the courage to help us beat the terrorists into submission and perhaps extinguish the flame of thier discontent.
2. Yes, thats right. They don't seem to belive in personal ownership. All we can do about this is vote conservative and tell our reps to abolish certain programs that dont work (such as Social Security, which will be empty by the time this years college grads are retiring), and allow them to be privatized, creating choices for consumers and promoting compitition to keep rates reasonable.
3. When they grow some personal responsibility. There is no reason that a woman, minority, or gay individual to blame anyone else for anything today. This is truly the land of opportunity and thier goals are attainable through an education, which the government will be more than happt to help pay for if one puts forth just a bit of effort in asking. Heck, its I who should be complaining about the man in that regard as since I am a white, middle-class, male from the 'burbs, I am the last in line for school money, after single moms, and all the minorities I seem to have mistreated or displaced. After all, are not I the proverbial "man" holding myself down through my own governments banishing of prayer in my classroom, affirmative action........I had better stop here on this one, I could really offend someone.
4. Are we really devoying time to this?? Of course it matters. Sinning is in our nature, right?? Does that mean we just give in and live in sin day to day?? No, we repent, try not to sin, and ask for Gods help in that goal. And plus, you dont want to be a fat slob, do you? Well, maybe if you play prop. Ha ha ha. Got rugby?
5. Yes it is. But many of us hold beliefs which seem contradictory. Lets explain what I assume we hold as common ground here. We are anti-abortion because we believe in the value of the unborn's life, so we must protect it. We believe in protecting all life. And sometimes the only way to do such is to take a life, such as in the case of capitol punishment. By killing someone we are able to proect the rest of society from them. That is the real reason for execution, not revenge. Today though, we are finding it easier to protect the whole through prisonment of the guilty, so perhaps since we have the means, its time to abolish the death penalty. As far as those anti-gunners, they are truly anti-constitution, and historical knuckleheads who don't see the Second Amendments purpose for what it is, a protection for the people from the Federal government. Remember, a bunch of farmers and mountain men were instrumental in the defeat of the worlds most powrful regular army. The framers knew that it may once agian be a neccessary fight, the people of America against the government of America, as odd, and unlikely as that sounds today.
6. Illegals do serve a role as they do what most of us will not. At work I mean. Perhaps deporting them would be a wonderful lesson in humility for us. I certainly think so, and would like to see it tried out. Perhaps my car insurance rates would drop (since most illegals dont have licences they drive with now insurance, causing everyone else's rates to rise).
7. Lack of effort. Does anyone really think schools don't have enough money. If we treat our schools with respect(taught at home), things would last much longer. Even some of our worst schools are better funded than the best schools in much of the rest of the world. We just don't try as hard, thats all.
8. Yes it is. My only answers, vote the liberals off your local school board, and then send your own kids to parochial school. At least they will be a bit safer there.
9. I am not even getting started here. Lets just use this time to reflect on how great Guiness is. Don't you just love it. And if you ever get a chance, try a Boulevard brew. From Kansas City, really just great stuff. The seasonals are wicked tasty, in particular the Nutcraker Ale in the winter months. Cheers Mate's!!

Because life is unfair, people seek balance by making just decisions and striving for fairness, to confront this fact of life. That is how people deal with it.
1.) No, and it'd probably be best not to give reason to their hatred so previously even-minded muslims begin to consider radical Islam, terrorism, etc.
2.) Christianity, among many other things, teaches generosity and charity; too bad there are so many politicians forcing religious ideas into government.
3.) Because as long as sexism, racism, homophobism, and such exist (which they do now without a doubt and probably will for a long time) there ought to be resistance. And it's usually AUTHORITY who resists their pleas for equality (right now BUSH and his cronies are firmly against homosexual, women's rights, and affirmative action/minority agendas--not that these are all good, just that Bush doesnt support them). The man is probably the most influential person to change these inequalities, therefore it seems normal for the minorities to "blame" him. Of course the man is no reason to fail because you have an excuse.
4.) I don't care.
5.) Yea it is. I'm anti- all three of those, mostly. Because I'm perfect
6.) Thousands of companies would fail because of lack of cheap labor. And if you lose your job to an illegal immigrant who doesnt speak the language, is possibly illiterate, and probably unexperienced, then you are in the highest eschelon of complete failures.
7.) Lack of funds. Lower taxes, lower education. I live in Texas, Republican capital of the universe, and rural or urban schools have NO money, teachers NO training, and kids get NO education. But it's ok we save like 50 bucks a year on taxes!
8.) School teaches us grammar and mathematics, church teaches us salvation, and you teach us the meaning of idiot. And since most schools are so poorly funded, i wouldnt trust their crappy-ass condoms.
9.) This is too ignorant a question, sorry to be condescending. You don't grasp the fact that environment changes are irreversable. period. They're trying to prevent a future where it'd suck ass to live. Simple.
10.) Same with conservatives and anyone. It's called human nature. And those who do it deserve no respect. Like O'Reilly and his "demagogue" and "idealist." He's the worst at that, goddam bastard.

I hate stating the obvious, but obviously the obvious has been deliberately overlooked. Birthing a child does not automatically 'doom' the biological parents to a life of parenthood. There are literally hundereds of thousands of infertile couples in the U.S. that would give anything to have and raise a child. Why do abortionists so hate the institution of adoption? I have never once heard a decent rebuttal to the obvious alternative to abortion which is adoption.

Or( Gee Timmy my two daddies sleep together). I was a volunteer reader (for project head start) when my little girl was in pre school they wanted me to read the 3-4 year olds at least one alternative lifestyle book a week.

It is wrong to talk about god in school. If you talk about god you alienate the children who don't beleive in those things. If anything, god should be talked about, as well as other religions, in theory. Those are theories, not proven facts, so don't try to force it on the kids that aren't Christian.

First, please let me get one thing dead on straight: I am not one of those assholes who thinks that banning abortion is the key to controlling women. I don't want to control anyone, PERIOD. In short, no woman has to have a baby if she doesn't want to have a baby - barefoot and pregnant is OVER. So what happens when a woman eschews all of these mechanisms and gets pregnant? She gets to kill the child? "Well it's my body..." Yes, it's your body! Why aren't you taking responsibility for what you've done with it? Why does a baby have to die so you get to exercise your "rights"? My feelings aren't like some people - anti-woman and the like. I love babies, I love children. To think of someone killing it in utero...my God, how could any woman DO that? Why would any woman WANT the right to kill her child, just in case?
And even more deeply at the center of this is a woman's place in society: you desire equality, am I right? To be considered on an equal footing as men? Okay, fine. You will never get to that point as long as men have responsibility and women have choices. When a woman gets pregnant, she can choose to have it and keep it, choose to give it up, choose to abort it. The man has nothing. JACK. He can't say a damn thing, even though that's his kid. If she wants to kill it, it dies. If she wants to keep it, he pays. If she wants to give it away, MAYBE he can get custody of it, maybe he can't. domenad - You assume incorrectly that I have ever had to make that choice. I have not, I take great pains to ensure that I am never faced with what has to be one of the most difficult choices that a woman has to make. This is why it must remain safe and legal. I believe that, given certain legal restrictions such as waiting periods etc that people have the right to own firearms. This does not by any means mean that I want one myself nor does it mean that I want anything personally to do with them. It simply means that I respect the rights of someone else to make that decision for themselves.

Westinghouse, the Wright Brothers (who outdid the better schooled Alexander Graham Bell). This is a culture of self-made men, not Harvard and Yale elites. Still, ignorance is so unattractive.
8) No and no, necessarily. This is why vouchers are pivotal - if I am forced to pay for education of my children, I should get them to have the education I want, not the education the government wants.
9) They're insane throwbacks and hypocrites. In a totally rational world, they would be so unlistened to, you wouldn't know they exist. Completely unreasonable.

In other countries around the world, the highest paid person in the company does not make more then 10x what the lowest paid person in the company does. This is limiting the amount of money that the rich can make, while raising what the lowest paid individual can make. In europe I think the average is 37x. In japan it is 10x. In america, it is 79x.

Congress gets paid a certain amount of money every year. So does the president. If we were to cut their salary's by say, 10,000 bucks a year, how much money would that be per year that the gov't is saving?
