I work in a bank. Its an intimidating place when you first start. Theres alot to know, and if you think you know how to do it, but you really dont know how to do it, theres a chance you'll have a very unhappy customer in a few days.
Brad works in my bank as well. He's been there for four years, knows everything there is to know and gets aggrivated when someone else isnt so sure about something. To him, its a way of life to me its nerve wracking. I double and triple check my money as I count it out, I check every transaction before I hit ok, and I take my time.
Brad, on the other hand, speeds through everything, and I guess he can since hes so comfortable with it. Don't ever ask him how to do something or where to find something because he might actually have to get up to show you or take a split second out of whatever it is hes doing to help. He also has a "way" with customers, NO BULLSHIT. If a customer wants to know why something is like it is he gives them whatever answer will shut them up. If they're not happy with something he'll tell them its like that everywhere, that there will never be a better option, nothing is better.
I'm helping out at a different branch today and there is this kid here that let me in the door this morning and then walked away, he wont show me where anything is, he wont help me with anything. I fell like I was left out in the cold to fend for myself.
I've concluded that there is always going to be a Brad everywhere I go. In some shape or form someone will try to make your life harder, the whole time having the mentality that they are making their life easier. Whether at work or not there will be someone thats not a team player, and doesn't care. They will walk with the thought that the world owes them something. Heads held high not knowing that the world owes them shit.
I wonder how people become this way? Honestly, if you're that miserable in your job, go somewhere else. Or deal with it. I'm not trying to say that you have to embrace life and treasure every moment like its your last, we all know thats impossible to do, but what I'm saying is SUCK IT UP AND DEAL!

I hate working with inept people. Basically what I read in your post was "I'm so jealous of Brad. I do everything slow and shitty, and piss of the customer. Brad, on the other hand is a good employee. He doesn't have to count the same money fifteen times, twice is enough because He's not retarded. I wish He would stick his meat in me.
