Election is three months away. Even though ubersite is a very narrow group of people (white nerds), I am pretty sure we could get a pretty good indication of the winner by polling. So, reply with the party you are planning on voting for. Or, if you don't vote or are a foreigner: fuck off.

F*ck Kerry. F*ck him in his stupid @$$!
Wounded himself to get his purple hearts.
Wounded himself to get out of the service.
Then once he got out of the service decided he didn't want the Purple Hearts.
Kerry is a jackass. I'm not saying that Bush is going to win any IQ contests or anything, but Kerry is a fooking tool (not priceless and useful, worthless and useless).

Don't fooled into this Democrat/Republican BAloney. A vote any candidate is ONE.VOTE. for THAT CANDIDATE. It takes nothing away from any of the others. IF the only opinion you have about the candidates is that you want ONE of them OUT OF OFFICE then you're really not committed to helping anyone. It's like deciding that things are all f**cked up. Well that's nice, and you spend the rest of your life griping, but that AIN'T SOLVING THE PROBLEM, IT AIN'T OFFERING A SOLUTION. So stop letting your enemies control your vote. Vote for who you want IN office, not out. If more people would do this, the country would have the president (and congress in office that IT wants and not just the consolation prize all the time. Remember the parties in control have not always been the the Democrats or the Republicans. These are new political parties. Hitler was elected as a reaction, they only wanted to get the previous people out and didn't pay attention to who they were putting in...what did that get them. Germany has never fully recovered.

Okay, first of all, let's all agree on one thing. We live in a two party nation. Yes, others exist, but either a republican or democtrat is going to win the election. Second of all, it's the third parties that mess with the elections. Don't get me wrong, third parties often times are better suited for office, but still none of them will win an election. In the 2000 election, The reason Bush 'won' (I don't think he actually did though) is because there was such a number of people that voted for a third party so all it really did was to tip the scale in neither candidates favor. If some of those people had voted for Gore, Bush wouldn't have 'won.' So anyone that wants Bush out of office as I do for the shit he's putting our country through, (and if you really don't know what that is, take a look at "Dude, Where's My Country" or "Stupid White Men") don't vote for a third party, even though it may be better than either Kerry or Bush, but vote for Kerry. Tip the scales in favor of Kerry. This country has been out of control of the people for long enough, it's time this people took the country back!

I honestly don't see the competition between the two candidates. Yes I said two, America is a two party system regardless of what you say.
Abortion? Here is what I have to say: There is genocide in Somalia, woman being suppressed in the middle east, children starving world wide, an AIDs epidemic and you have your panties in a bunch over a cup of blood from some whores pussy? Cause thats what the typical abortion is. Bush is just pandering to the relegious with his Anti-Stem Cell and Abortion stance, but you must realize he won't actually do shit about them.
winner: Kerry
War in Iraq: I don't know much about Iraq, except that I believe we should have never been there and that Bush lied to us dozens of times about it. And just because we invaded doesn't mean we are obligated for a decade of war. Hey doesn't this sound like a previous war? "We can't bomb a country and not rebuild it!", well we did it before. Speaking of Vietnam...
winner: well since Kerry hasn't said much about an evacuation plan, and neither has Bush, nobody.
Vietnam: chicken hawk Bush was living the party life thanks to his background, while Kerry volunteered and recieved the Silver Star for his actions. I think it is quite insulting when people question how he recieved his medals, especially those who weren't even there. And Bush says he is a war president.
winner: Kerry
Taxes: I doubt many people here have seen a big difference in their paychecks because of Bush's tax cuts, which went mostly to the already filthy rich creating a larger gap inbetween the rich and the poor. Kerry said he would repeal the tax cuts for the stinking rich, which doesn't effect me in the slightest. The deficit is at around 7.3 trillion dollars. With a population of about 290,000,000 thats around 25,000$ per a citizen. Because of Bush, you owe a tab of 25k. Wake up people.
winner: Kerry
Education, The Vice Presidents and other important topics I really know little about. Perhaps someone else could shed some light on them.

The government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office.
H. L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)
People mistake the fact that Kerry actually represents the people as "flip-flopping."
You're saying you want to elect someone to office simply because he has made up his mind completely about everything, regardless of whether he is right or not? You're a fucking moron then, and so is Bush.
I wouldn't mind a president that has the ability to change his mind to reflect what the people want. That's what politicians are SUPPOSED to do, not try to inflict their own evil agendas on us all, i.e. Orrin Hatch etc.

-------------------------------------------------
You know nothing of Vietnam, do you? Do you honestly think the POW's didn't know that most of America was against the war? Are you retarted?. Consider this, Kerry volunteered, went and experienced real combat in first person. Bush got into the National Guard due to his background, learned how to fly a jet being phased out of duty and didn't even manage to pass his physical. Of all the things you could have said about Kerry to support your view, you picked a bad topic.

Libertarians ignore the evolution of society completely. You act like all people are completely independent and self-reliant. Those people (for the most part) don't exist anymore.
I agree that Republicans and Democrats are almost identical, any idiot knows this.
The problem with American politics is money, a result of capitalism. If you want to fix the problem you have to get rid of the money in politics.
Personally I believe socialism is the answer, and that eventually, as long as the world can survive the next 100 years, that's the direction politics will move in. And truthfully this is what Marx saw happening, a capitalist society evolve into a socialist country as the gap between rich and poor grows. (ever heard of the middle class squeeze that's been happening since the 70's?) To me a democratic socialist state is the answer. Now you may start to freak out... "shut up you red!" "Communist! Fuck off" etc.
Just don't vote for Bush. He is leading not just the country but the world in to crisis, or at the least hastening disaster.

Any real christian would vote for Nader. Or at least Kerry. Did Jesus go around hating fags? No he hung around with the prostites and homeless, helping as much as he could. He certainly didn't go around persecuting people who didn't follow him. Bush has done the exact opposite, made the poor far worse off and removed the rights of people based on his religion. Guess what, there's no proof your religion is true, that's why it's faith based you stupid fucks. Keep it in the home and vote for someone who isn't into destroying the planet.
Oh and last time I remember, thou shalt not kill was probably the most important of the ten commandments, so when someone wants to go the peaceful route. That makes them a lot more christian than Bush slaughtering tens of thousands of innocents in pointless wars that just make America more hated than ever.
The Kyoto agreement won't destroy the economy, every other country seems to be able to handle it. Just because Americans are sloppy doesn't mean they couldn't clean their act up a bit.
Oh and if you haven't noticed, Bush is basically moving money from the lower and middle classes upwards. So yes the top 10% are the ones who benefit from it, the ones with 50% of America's wealth and soon to have more. I know you like to think nothing in Moore's film was true, because as Republicans like to believe, everything on tv is true, everything else doesn't exist. However Bush said in his speech "People call you the haves and the have mores, I call you my base" and it's true. That's who he's helping, yet stupid fucks who only lose from having him in the white house still vote for him.
You wonder why everyone hates you and calls you stupid. America, vote Bush out.

it's pretty ironic that people gave this a big -2, but typed up a few paragraphs for people to read. if people "shouldn't bother" with this post, then why did you write all that stuff?
as far as the abortion thing, i think it's pretty sad that you are dumb enough to believe that Bush will keep all the babies safe, and you are going to vote for him because of it. while you are sitting in your home, thinking about how that wonderful human being is sitting in the oval office, fighting to keep the babies alive, he's really out with some congressmen getting drunk and talking about the next part of the environment he's going to fuck up, or how he's going to make a few more million, or what country he's going to use my tax money to invade next, or how he's going to convince more people that the insurgents in Iraq are really terrorists. while i'm on that subject, they are insurgents, plain an simple. cutting off someone's head doesn't make you a terrorist. it makes you really pissed off. it's funny that when asked why these people are fighting back, their answer is "because you're here". if someone invaded my country, i'd start cutting off heads, too.
anyway, back to voting for Bush because he opposes abortion. do you dolts really think Bush cares about abortion? he takes that stance because he has to convey that "good christian man" image to get all the votes from the religious nuts and anti-abortion people. yeah, good christian men do not live the life George W. Bush does, trust me. Kerry, on the other hand, has the balls to tell the truth about what he believes in and that is commendable. he knows that without abortion, we'd have a much bigger problem. someone is going to have to pay for all those welfare babies from teenage mothers. i know a little something about it, too. i lived in a place where almost every teenage girl was getting pregnant, and they were always the poorest ones, too. do you think it's fair to bring a child into the world that you can barely feed? not to mention the mothers had these children in the first place because they were irresponsible. you know what i saw almost every single night? women just like that, at the bar every. single. night. high on drugs and drunk, while their children were at home, probably dying. these are the mothers that leave their children in the car in the heat, and they end up dead. i've seen that happen a few times in the past couple years. i'd like to know who is going to pay for all these welfare babies if W make abortion illegal. are you going to pay for it? am i going to pay for it? you're goddamn right. go to cities close to Mexico with mostly hispanic populations (San Antonio, San Diego), and look at how many Mexican teenagers are having babies because they are irresponsible. and Bush wants to make it ok for illegal aliens to be protected and given benefits, which will attract many more of them, and make this problem even worse. i can go to America and have my baby, because i'll get welfare there! hooray for W!
oh, and while we're on the subject, why do you think it is that Bush likes that idea? cheap labor, maybe? so the rich get richer and people like you and i are out of a job. wait, maybe he just thinks Mexicans are really nice people. that's it. speaking of the rich getting richer, i wonder how much longer they can keep it up? pretty soon, they will have laid everyone off, outsourced to India, hired illegal aliens from Mexico for little pay, and people like you and i will be jobless and can't afford to buy their products anymore. but they don't care about that. they won't live long enough to see the economy get that bad, so they want to get as rich as possible in this lifetime. and if things get bad, they can always avoid millions in taxes by setting up a nice tax haven for themselves in the Bahamas so the average Joe Blow like you and i have to pick up their slack while we're barely scraping by and they are splashing mud up on you while you're walking down the street in their Mercedes Benz, while smoking a big fat Cuban cigar on their way to dinner that they are going to spend at least $1,000 on. don't you love greed?
back to abortion. if you honestly think W is the man for the job because he's going to knock down all the abortion clinics, you have another thing coming. people wonder why i call them stupid when they say they are voting for Bush, and it is the reasons just like that one. abortion... WOW... i can't believe you think Bush is such a fucking superhero. Bush isn't going to stop abortion. NO ONE WILL. it's not going away, you idiots. Bush saying he's anti-abortion is just another way for him to gain acceptance from idiots that believe he can get rid of it. HE CAN'T. IT'S NOT GOING AWAY. i can't believe you people are so worried about killing babies, but you're all for killing Iraqis based on bullshit lies that were spoonfed to you because you don't have a mind good enough or strong enough to be able to think for yourselves. do any of you Iraq supporters TRULY, HONESTLY think you know why we're in Iraq? i love how Bush said "yeah, we didn't find any weapons, but we do know this- Saddamn hated America!" really? WHAT A FUCKING NEWS FLASH! HOW SHOCKING! PEOPLE HATE AMERICA??? NO WAY! funny that he didn't mention that we've been bombing Iraq for years to keep them in check. they have been America's bitch since the start. we put Saddamn there because we could control him. Iraq didn't have a military that could last more than a few days against us. the only problems we have are the insurgents because you can't fight insurgency. and why should we? seriously, people. if you can't tell Bush was lying to you to make Iraq out to be a real threat, you are seriously fucking stupid. there's a real reason we are there, and it ain't altruism, either. the Iraqi people didn't have it as bad as your President told you they did. i'll give you a hint- it's green.

If you vote by party, fuck you. If you think the mega-corporations that compose ANY political party you could call mainstream in any way represent the American citizen, you are a fool. They represent themselves, their power-mongering, and their earning that are taken out of your ass.
If you think government programs are the best way to achieve a high standard of living, fuck you. How many times do you have to hear about misappropriation of funds, diversion of resources, imbezzlement, fraud, etc. in the bueracracy to get it. The government SUCKS at handling your money. The government SUCKS at humanitarian aid. The government SUCKS at providing health care plans, educational opportunities, welfare benefit mangement, and every other social benefit the liberals cry for. Do you really trust the government to manage your money better than yourself? The government uses your money, your support, and its social programs to increase its size and control.
If you think that tighter government control on a person's personal life is the answer to a decline in morality, fuck you. You don't need to look far in history to find examples of how governments turn moral controls into mind control. The only person who should decide what is moral for themselves is themselves. If your beliefs and actions don't affect another person, it shouldn't be anyone's goddamn business!
The governments sole responsibility should be to protect its citizens from each other, foreign powers, and itself. Limited social and economic controls are necessary, but for the sake of freedom, quit giving the government moral authority. Quit relying on the government for your own well being. When you rely on benefits from someone, you become their slave. Learn how to support yourself. Take the responsibility for the world around you. Don't lobby for legislation on every single issue that impacts you. Find a way that YOU and others like you can change it. If you involve the government in an issue, you give them CONTROL of it.
Take the power back! Don't cry for liberty, be Libertarian!

Of course you support the Kyoto treaty Hidden....
Until the economy tanks and you lose your job. Then you blame Bush for signing it an ruining the economy, right? Clinton put the Kyoto treaty before the Senate and guess what happened? It was rejected. By a 51-49 vote? 60-40? 80-20? Not even close. 95-0 was the vote. So even if Bush signed it, our own Congress would not have ratified it.
And as far as the arsenic in the water, the current standard is 50 ppb. It was 50 ppb for the entire eight years of the Clinton administration, and with good reason - many cities and townships did not possess the cash to implement the new standard, which was 10 ppb. They still don't. So Bush delayed the implementation so townships wouldn't lose their city water and have to move to less safe alternatives (well water).
And of course there is coal, oil, and gas drilling on Federal land. Tell me Hidden, were 3000 dead people not enough to convince you we need to produce as much of our own energy as possible? Or do you just want us to continue to rely on the ragheads for everything and save the caribou? I'd feed living kittens into a reactor if that's what it took to get us out of that part of the world. FUCK CARIBOU.

I think you are playing up the small stuff, such as abortion, and playing down the big. Abortion is an issue in ALL countries, but WAR doesn't have to be. George W Bush has created an international incident, and has dragged in countries from all around the world into his warmongering. These countries are under pressure to follow America because of pre-Bush (both of them) ties, but they shouldn't be obligated to follow Bush, who hardly even represents his own country. If every American was as stupid and thoughtless as their current President, our country would be fucking doomed from the start.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To someone who hates abortion, abortion is not the "small issue". Each individual person has their own views and they determine inside their head which ones are more important to them. You ever see the political surveys on websites? The good ones always ask "Importance" of the issues and you usually rate the issue by how strongly you feel about it.
Some people actually feel the war is less important on a personal level than other things. Is this wrong? No. For you to say it is wrong is fucked up, though. People are entitled to their own opinions and views if you like them or not. If someone wants to vote for Bush, you would be best off in just letting them do it. But, no...That isn't good enough. People like you have to insult people who have their own opinions and views. People like you call republicans sheep while you punch the "all democrat" ticket.
If every American was like Kerry...We'd be doomed as much as you said if we were all like Bush.
I'm just pissed that real assholes are all over here (and they are almost ALWAYS democrat) are so pissed that someone would even think of voting for Bush. Then they have to resort to insults.
What a good way to win an election.... "I don't know shit about John Kerry other than he isn't Bush!!!" You're a real brainiac and I guess you are qualified to call people stupid.
War sucks, whatever. But socialism sucks too...and it sucks worse.
My vote will be Bush. And I don't hate you or insult you for voting for Kerry, I really don't. But I know what you're thinking and all I can do is laugh because angry, upset democrats make me realize I would never want to be a democrat and that's good to have happen. (I'm libertarian if you didn't know.... Just don't see a libertarian president coming into play here anytime soon.)

Nobb...Have you ignored everything I have said? Bush isn't great and this is true. But making up false claims that he supports the "10% richest americans" only is a fucking lie. Period.
If you don't like abortion, Bush is your man. Why the fuck would someone who disagrees with abortion vote for Kerry? If this is something that is his strongest view in life...ANTI-ABORTION... why the fuck would that person vote for Kerry? THAT would be stupid.
I am not talking about myself, as I don't believe that abortion is good, but I wouldn't make it illegal. No federal funds would ever be used for it, however. But that isn't because of abortion itself...just the waste of tax dollars on bullshit.
People spew (democrats mostly) the same ole' shit over again and again and again and again... And ignore the facts that there are people who do not vote for the democrat party because they don't believe in the party platform. I don't... Or at least about 75% of it.
So I want one of you pompous fuckface losers who ignore shit to explain to me why the fuck someone should vote for someone who has political views in direct opposition to theirs?
Sure the Iraq war sucks and is messed up.... But why would I just up and vote for someone I disagree with 75% of the time over someone else I may disagree with 25% of the time?

The top 25% pay 83% of the total of income taxes.

The democrats do not want people to know this...that the rich actually pay a higher percentage and since they make more, they pay alot more taxes than the lower paid individuals. Shady business...

I know plenty of reputable people whose kids have turned to drugs and alcohol.
Bush's daughters were caught drinking while being underage. MILLIONS of underage kids drink. Judging someone as a parent because their children make mistakes? That isn't fair at all.
Clinton's IQ was near 200 supposively, but I've talked with someone who was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base and had stories of how much an asshole Clinton was.
You can't just judge someone on how smart they are, you need to look at character. Without character, intelligence means nothing.

i never said Kerry is going to save the world. but i AM saying that Bush is doing quite a bit of damage to it. no one could turn things around in a way that would satisfy everyone. NO ONE. Kerry isn't my savior. he's a legitimate alternative to Bush.
haven't any of you wondered why Bush never has press conferences? he's a dim bulb. he can't comprehend most questions and he isn't intelligent enough to answer the ones he does understand. sometimes i wonder exactly how literate he is. do you people really want a man with such low intelligence to be the leader of the free world?
another thing that just came to mind was the fact that his administration tried to prove Bush was around for his military service by saying they had his pay records to prove it. i just got out of the military, so i can say this- YOU GET PAID NO MATTER WHAT. YOU GET PAID IF YOU ARE AWOL. YOU GET PAID IF YOU'RE IN JAIL. YOU GET PAID NO MATTER WHAT. it doesn't prove anything. talk about shady, huh? it's funny they tried to use those records when they couldn't find any others to prove he was there...

I am legal to vote actually.
I'm glad you took the time to find a list of the horrendous things you think he has done over his course as president.
Kerry's list will be just as long, as I'm sure Clinton's was before Bush.
It appears to me that you are the naive one, figuring that for some reason Kerry will be a marvelous president and won't make any mistakes. Yea, he'll be perfect.
Politics are shady, thats the facts of life, the government is, and always will be corrupt to a degree. Clinton granting amnesty to numerous prisoners before he left office, as Bush did before him, and as former presidents also did before that.
Like I said before, I don't agree with some of the things Bush has done, I find some of them to be incredibly ignorant decisions, but knowing Kerry will also make mistakes and that the government won't magically become free of corruption, I'm going to vote for the person who I believe to be a common man.
I respect your opinion and I'm not trying to convince anyone that Bush would be a greater president, I have no proof that he would be. I'm glad you care about the country as many people these days don't.
I'm not asking anyone to agree with my choice, only to respect my opinion as to who I would vote for. I'm not trying to get you pissed off or anything Hidden, you're one of the few people on here whose posts I consistently read and enjoy. I don't often enter the political fray because what someone believes and chooses to do is their right.
If Kerry is elected president it won't make too much of a difference to me, I'm not going to shit my pants in anger over it, odds are it won't affect my life too much anyways. In four more years the process will again repeat itself and more arguments will ensue anyways. That seems to be the way the people like it. I'm sure you'll be pleased to learn that while I can vote I'm choosing not to. So if Bush happens to lose the election because he didn't get 1 more vote from a citizen in Montana, you can thank me for Kerry being elected. Deal?

I could care less about either of them. What do these daughters have anything to do with the election? You're just losing your composure as the true hate comes out of you.
Take some valium or something, man.
Now explain to me why I would vote for a democrat such as kerry/edwards when I am against 75% of the issues on the democratic platform?? You are an arrogant asshole if you demand me to vote for a candidate that supports issues I don't agree with.
One issue: Abortion. I am against abortion but believe in that a woman has the choice to do what she wants. Planned parenthood is 75% OK and 25% fucked up.
That's the only thing I really agree with the democrats on...so why the hell would I vote for them? Because I shouldn't vote for Bush? That's not good enough.
Until John Kerry states "I am against welfare and will reform the system." and "I will support the lifting of the federal ban on assault weapon sales." and "Affirmative action is wrong and must end." and "We need to reform our schools by offering a choice for students to attend private schools with our help." and a slew of other things... It would be interesting to see the votes for people who have traveled to europe, asia, africa, etc. and who they vote for. You would think that pissing off the REST of the world in less than 4 years would make you a pretty unpoular guy. 48% of the US would disagree. I was trying to think in my head of how some people justify this.
"Well, I for one do not care that I would be looked down apon, disrespected, taken advatage of if I were to travel to europe, because I can't fucking located the damn, country, or is it state..no, no country, on the map"
Myself? I am glad I have a little blue passport, but am thankful that I have a little red passport (swiss) sitting right next to it.

Method is right, i'm fucking fired up. i usually keep my mouth shut about this stuff, but i just can't believe people want to vote for Bush because "he seems like a guy i can talk to on the street. what i nice fuckin' guy!"
the truth is, Bush is a fuckin' asshole. you never see the footage of him being a total ass. you always see the footage of him doing nice things with that plastic fucking smile on his face. you can tell he HATES doing that shit.
you know, i like the fact Kerry's daughters are very intelligent, down to earth, well mannered, lady like women, while Bush's daughters are drunken drug-fucked sluts. i think it says a lot about his character, or lack therof. just a random observation.

And the democrats do the EXACT SAME THING.
Do you really think that Edwards (a trial lawyer with anti-business written all over him) is going to help fix the health care system? It's because of people like HIM that it is in shambles. This shit didn't start when Bush was elected. It started WELL BEFORE then.
Of course, you don't hear the stories about how certain states have scared so many doctors away that there are shortages in hospitals and now people are actually dying because of this.
People are quick to forget these things build over time. They just see the problem as "now" and blame whoever "now" is. Bush.
He is a whipping boy for anything that is wrong, and if Kerry wins I wonder if he'll be subjected to the same treatment Bush has gotten. Personally, I think these democrats are setting a poor example for the future of politics. People tend to remember these things, and will do the same things to them. It drives everyone down.
Democrats = just as screwed up.
I can agree with you on certain points, but to not acknowledge the Democrat's miserable failures is wrong as well.
Personally, I feel we need complete new blood in the office. Is that going to happen anytime soon? Hell no. Now if you say the masses of typical americans are ignorant of politics and include democrats in your observations, I'm with you 100%.
I've heard the arguement over and over again "How can people be so stupid and vote for Bush?!" And all I can say back is "For the very same reasons people are stupid and vote for John Kerry."
Those assclowns that want people to vote democrat across the board without even knowing who the hell is what are the people who piss me off the most though. I know some democrats that are better than republicans, and some republicans that are better than democrats at all levels of government.
Do you know what an all-democrat state legislature and governor will do? Check out what Gray Davis did to California. This is what these bastards want to do to all America. No thanks.
(Let me reiterate: Republicans are not the answer either.)
People don't know shit about who in politics. I know why I'd vote for Bush, and maybe others don't. I guaran-fucking-tee you most people don't know shit about John Kerry, or the Democrat platform. And I'm sure Kerry doesn't want those people to find out, either.

i'm not so much calling people stupid as i am saying that Americans need to read and do research and really try to figure out who they are voting for. most people that want to vote for Bush don't know a damn thing about him. not only that, but they won't listen to the bad things about him. they block it out. just look at the guy- do you really think he wanted to be President? he's a greedy businessman. he's always been a businessman, and almost every single person in his cabinet has sat on boards of very powerful companies. look at all the money being made off of Iraq. look at the troops out there gaurding the oil, and the contractors saying it's the most heavily gaurded place out there. look at how the CIA says Bush came to them after 911 and said "find something on Iraq", even thought they insisted Iraq had nothing to do with it. look at how many times the reason for Iraq changed. this isn't a altruistic war, and if you believe that it is, it's because you haven't seen the things that other people have seen. i could go on for hours and hours about how many things are so terribly wrong with the Bush regime, but i don't know why i even bother. it's impossible to get other people to even look at your point of view. i'm just appauled at how many people are niave enough to trust the Bush administration and believe that it's impossible that they would have alterior motives that were greedy and corrupted. shit like that happens all over the world all the time, and i would hope people wouldn't be niave enough to think it couldn't happen here.

Most presidents tend to do that Hidden.
It's impossible to appease the masses, even if things had gone much differently people would still complain, thats politics.
Kerrys words and actions contradict all the time, I doubt he even knows what he believes.
Bush had made mistakes, yes, and no I don't think he has done as good as job as he could have, but as a person he seems more like someone you could talk to on the street, someone a little more down to earth and thats something you don't see much in a president.
This whole process will continue every four years anyways, so whether I vote for Kerry or Bush really doesn't matter in that sense, it all comes back to this.

Hidden, what you are doing is wrong.
Insulting other people who have a different opinion of you is supposed to make America be better?
Come on now.
There are a dozen issues with Kerry I have that with Bush (who I dislike as well) I don't have those issues.
Does this make me stupid? Does it make me naive? No. It makes me intelligent to know which candidate stands for what...And to me, Kerry is a complete dud. The only reason he even has a chance in hell of winning is because people really hate Bush. That's the ONLY reason. No issues. Just hatred of BUSH.
Sure, there are a few issues I agree totally with Kerry on. But the big issues it really won't matter with Bush or Kerry there.

what's sad is that a lot of people want to keep Bush and i just can't believe how stupid most of America really is. it's not just stupidity, it's niavety and complacency. these people don't bother to read and form opinions of their own. they just see Bush on TV saying "i'm making America safer and freeing the Iraqi people!" and the people say "wow, what a saint! let's re-elect him!"

I can't stand the guy, but in the end I think his decisions will improve our future even if there are hard times in the short term. Kerry has not impressed me and he's just as much of a "liar" as Bush is but people somehow forgive Kerry for it....
Plus, I took the poll at www.selectsmart.com/president and he matched up with my ideas way more than Kerry did. (Hell, Al Sharpton came in ahead of Kerry in my poll!)
10,000 uber users can't get Bart into office on a nationwide level. Now, locally he may have a chance if there are enough Chicago area registered voters. Sorry, I'm not a FIB so I can't help but just go down there to help campaign with him. (Bumper stickers, signs, flyers).
